Betsy DeVos – A Disaster for Education?

Betsy DeVos and her husband, Dick DeVos Jr., are perhaps best known as big-time donors to Republican candidates and groups. Jeb Bush gave her the highest accolade he could from his point of view and that was Bush referring to DeVos as a major contributor to the Republican Party. The Party? That’s all?

 

Jeb Bush of Florida, where Ms. DeVos helped push legislation establishing tax credits for scholarships to private schools, called her an “outstanding pick,” a “passionate change agent to press for a new education vision.”

 

Change Agents are someone who is assigned or directed to intentionally change social attitudes, cultural values, thoughts, attitudes and morals of school children. TARGET: To change parental and church inspired morals, values and attitudes regarding life in general that are taught at home to destroy all PARENTAL INFLUENCE. Some teachers are change agents – trained to be change agents.

 

Not that DeVos is an excellent educator because she isn’t and not that she has worked to improve education because she hasn’t. She has offered nothing to education besides her billions because she is all about two things; the Republican Party and using her money to buy her way! DeVos in her own way is a “change agent”.

 

The closest she has come to actually being involved in education was in pushing policy’s which is school choice with vouchers and a side helping of charter schools. Conservative school choice activists hailed her as a disrupter, and as someone who would block what they see as Federal intrusion of local schools all the while using public tax dollars to feed into private schools. That is taxation without representation.

 

American parents must understand that what is wrong with the public education system is the non-educators like DeVos and legislators who know nothing about the education of children and are determined to control our children and their futures as “human capital”. The plan has been laid out for years and they have been even dumb enough to put their ideas and plans on paper.

 

Funneling citizens tax dollars into Charter School Management companies which include Muslim Gulen schools only to have them fail with the massive fraud, corruption, and no excuses education and the massive use of H-1B and EB5 visa’s is out of control. People like DeVos who believe they can buy their way following the “yellow brick road” to total private education and ruling the country through our children are selfish and self-centered.

 

This is why they are fighting so hard to gain control of home-schoolers because they know they have no control there. Those parents are still putting their tax dollars into the till while paying extra for home-school non-common core curriculums.

 

The DeVos campaign donation records have a very long trail. The part that bothers me is that most of those donations went to Senators who cast votes as to yes or no for her confirmation and are on the Senate education committee and subsequently on the Senate floor.

 

There have not been any campaign records presented that show the DeVos’ contributed to the Trump campaign of which I am not surprised as they were strong Rubio contributors.

 

Over the years, the DeVos’ have donated to individuals at varying levels of government who are involved in the education of our children. I personally resent these individuals who believe their money is what is required or wanted to lay out our children’s futures. That is the parent’s rights to do and one of the goals of the DeVos’ and their political friends have laid out is THEIR control of your children.

 

How many times must we repeat Senator Lamar Alexander’s statement of controlling our children from “cradle to grave”, “sunrise to sunset” and away from their parents? The whole thing is to break the ideology and teaching of children by their parents. Parents are to no longer to be part of the equation. LINK LINK

 

Remember in 1989 his goal was the development of a “brand new American school”. We are to go to the maternity wards at hospitals around the country and determine how many have been born out of wedlock. Alexander doesn’t state the importance of that information. He calls for the school to be year round, from 6A.M.-6P.M., and ages 3 months to 18 years. And we as parents are supposed to trust these elected officials who destroy everything they touch to control the lives of our children? Especially when one of their main goals is to remove all parental influence regarding God, Family, and Country.

 

In 1997, Betsy DeVos wrote an op-ed for the newspaper Roll Call in which she defended “soft money” (campaign contributions to political parties that avoid legal limits on contributions to individual candidates).

 

DeVos, who was chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party at the time, (one of four terms) wrote that her family was the biggest contributor of soft money to the national Republican Party, and that “occasionally a wayward reporter will try to make the charge that we are giving this money to get something in return, or that we must be purchasing influence in some way.” She wears her money as a badge!

 

DeVos stated, “I have decided, however, to stop taking offense at the suggestion that we are buying influence. Now I simply concede the point. They are right. We do expect some things in return.” (Just another “swamp dweller”!) DeVos wrote in Roll Call, “We expect to foster a conservative governing philosophy consisting of limited government and respect for traditional American virtues. We expect a return on our investment; we expect a good and honest government. Furthermore, we expect the Republican Party to use the money to promote these policies, and yes, to win elections.”

 

Does it sound like sound reasoning to have the future of our children in this woman’s hands? With DeVos you have another alarming factor to take into consideration and that is her religious belief ‘s and how she sees their use in education. Again, please do not misunderstand me as I would also like to see our country go back to being under the teaching and umbrella of the Holy Bible rather than the teachings of the Communist Manifesto, but not in a way that the whole country MUST follow what my beliefs would dictate.

 

DeVos and her family are Calvinists and have the same basic beliefs as the form of religion Ted Cruz and David Barton follow using as one of their foundations Matthew 1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. KJV Calvinists and other Evangelical groups believe this gives them dominion also over all the people and the government. This is one of the main problems with some of the existing Evangelical groups – taking the word of God out of context and giving it a new meaning. I see nowhere in that verse the mention of humans or government.

 

DeVos in some circles is considered a religious zealot who spoke about using public education to “advance God’s Kingdom.” I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anyone basing our children’s education on the religious beliefs of anyone else. Our beliefs are personal and private and not to be used to control others. Those trying to destroy this country through the Manifesto named the removal of religion and the teaching of the parents as part of their agenda. Hence, I believe the “New World Order” guys and gals know this to be an important part of our children’s lives.

 

Most Americans know there is no such thing as “separation of church and state”, but others use it to gain special treatment. Using our tax dollars or corporate funding when the funds are not being separated out is wrong especially when the funds are being used currently and primarily to send “low-income” children to religious schools.

 

Please do not misunderstand me as I have absolutely no problem with any of our children attending religious schools. But if any of our tax dollars are used to pay for that education that is once again “taxation without representation”, the same as it is in regard to charter schools and their unelected school boards.

 

The DeVos so-called religious plan is to ensure all religious parents get a voucher to send their children to a school of their choice. Is this not discrimination? A new way to form segregation? Parents actually think they are going to escape the claws of the Common Core plan. This is one of the bigger lies being told to parents since any school, public, private or parochial that takes one red cent from the federal government MUST follow the rules and laws that are attached to that funding. If you are not aware, many private and parochial schools played the “Race to the Top” game and took Federal $$.

 

If you haven’t noticed, most with their hands into the ruination of your children’s futures is being pushed by those of the Republican Party, from the Federal level to the local level. But wait, why aren’t the Democrats screaming bloody murder since they are the ones always calling for the non-existent “separation of church and state”? Because the voucher program is being aimed once again at “low-income” students.

 

People like Jeb Bush, Chris Whittle, John Kirtley, Lamar Alexander, Chester Finn, Jr., and the two Florida Senators who introduced the Amendment – Sen. Thad Altman,(R) and Rep. Scott Plakon, (R) repeatedly tried to convenience the voters of Florida they only wanted to protect religiously-based social services.

 

They went so far as to state the Blaine Amendment was prejudice and was against the Catholic Church. Never mind the two men who wrote Amendment 8 were both Catholic and their goal was to have the tax dollar funding go to private and parochial schools.

 

The important thing here is not that the Amendment was defeated, but to what lengths these people have gone to in order to not only turn our children’s education into a basket of weeds but the force and control over our children that they desire to have. It is to be “their way or the highway” so to speak. You as a parent are to have NO say!

 

Florida is using vouchers stating the Supreme Court’s ruling does not apply because there will be NO tax dollars used to pay the tuition (vouchers). The voucher program here in Florida is being called the “tax credit scholarship program” and it allows businesses to get credits on their state tax bills if they donate to an organization that gives vouchers to children in low-income families. I don’t know about you, but for me, this is nothing more than a “pay to play” game using our children once again to gain their control.

 

In Florida in 2015, almost all of the children receiving vouchers were attending religious schools. The families of nearly 100,000 Florida students received vouchers worth about $544 million that year as the Legislature has steadily increased support for the programs. That growth has come despite critics who contend that vouchers divert money from public schools to private institutions that do not have the same student-testing or teacher-accountability rules and can freely mix education with religion.

 

Stop the presses – Floridians were told the voucher funding was to come from businesses who would get credits on their state tax bills. You see what this game is? The business donates to a charity for a tax credit while donating to the legislators who pass these lenient bills regarding education and it is a “win win” for everyone but the children in the end as they are being used as “human capital”. The plan is to ensure ALL children fall under the umbrella of government/private control and that the taxpayers will continue to pay without having all the facts, the right to disagree with them or even worse, NOT CARING.

 

This is called the removal of REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT! You no longer count!

 

DeVos’ Michigan is one of the nation’s biggest school choice laboratories, especially with charter schools. The Detroit, Flint and Grand Rapids school districts have among the nation’s 10 largest shares of students in charters, and the state sends $1 billion in education funding to charters annually. Of those schools, 80 percent are run by for-profit organizations, a far higher share than anywhere else in the nation.

 

Laboratories or experiments is a good reference for charter schools, especially in Michigan. [LINK] This past October, U.S. Secretary of Education John King (R) paid a visit to Detroit, during which time he offered some advice to Michigan education leaders in an interview: stop shuttering failing schools because the schools we’re replacing them with are no better.  I wonder if he met with DeVos while there.

 

If Michigan is a center of school choice, it is also among one of the worst places to argue that choice has made schools better. As the state embraced and then expanded charters over the past two decades, its rank has fallen on national reading and math tests. Most charter schools perform below the state average.

 

And a federal review in 2015 found “an unreasonably high” percentage of charter schools on the list of the state’s lowest-performing schools. The number of charter schools on that list had doubled since 2010, after the passage of a law a group financed by Ms. DeVos pushed to expand the schools. The group blocked a provision in that law that would have prevented failing schools from expanding or replicating.

 

The Michigan law pushed by Ms. DeVos to establish charter schools over 20 years ago allows an unusually large number of organizations to start such schools, yet established little mechanism for oversight. Even Republican supporters of charter schools say the law has allowed failing charter schools to expand or replicate.

 

Last spring, the DeVos-backed group was the chief force behind the defeat of legislation that would have established standards for identifying and closing failing schools, both charter and public, in Detroit, where a flood of charter schools in the past decade has created what even charter school supporters call chaos.

 

If nothing else tells you what a DeVos leadership will do to our already very lenient legislation regarding charters/choice/vouchers, nothing else will. We can hope that Trump was misled in his appointment of DeVos as she is a greater danger to our children and our country than any of the other nominees.

So SorryIt is time I apologized for not having posted on here for some time. Health issues have had me to my knees for a while, but with a God full of Grace and wonderful doctors, I am finally back to “normal”, whatever that is for me these days.

I haven’t stopped keeping my eyes and ears on the pulse of our children’s education, and I hope I have some good information for you to read through and take to your own school boards (if you still have one in your community), and let them know you are not happy with the ways things have been going and their re-elections could very well depend on their decisions in the future.

This goes for local and state elected officials who have been operating under the assumption you and I are supposed to be working for them rather than the reverse. There are reasons for their way of thinking and I hope to bring that to you also – it is still “education”.

The goal of many is to Abolish our Representative form of government and they believe they have it all figured out especially now with the Federal government backing Charter/Choice Vouchers. From fellow researcher Anita Hoge:

Is this country at a tipping point? How do you transform our Republic? There are four main issues I will discuss in this article:

New Orleans. New York. Chicago. Detroit. Philadelphia. Washington DC and countless other cities are casting a glimpse in how this nation is being transformed. If these large cities can be transformed, what chance do small cities and towns have to sidestep government takeover? There are both Democrat and Republican fingerprints all over this agenda. Based on a crisis such as a natural disaster, financial bankruptcy, corruption, or some other incident, there is an agenda to take control of a city’s schools by transferring all authority to the mayor or the governor. In 2006, an action guide for mayors was published by the United States Conference for Mayors and funded by the Gates Foundation called, “Mayoral Leadership and Involvement in Education, An Action Guide for Success.” It detailed a step-by-step process to gain control over a city, particularly its schools. Similarly, in 2008, the National Governor’s Association wrote a report, “State Support for High Performing Charter School Expansion,” which was a plan for state governors to expand charter schools. Is this the bigger plan?

What unique circumstances must be in place to force the closing of publicly-run schools by reorganizing them to become privatized charter schools? Dissolving all elected school board members and replacing them with appointed councils? Firing all the teachers and thereby breaking the back of the unions? [Leave aside, for now, the debate of benefit versus harm of the teacher’s unions, ed.] Replacing experienced teachers with fledgling ‘Teach For America’ or ‘Education Pioneer’ newbies who have had just a few weeks of training? Firing teachers through based on subjective evaluations and “high stakes” testing of students that measures and molds their personalities? Designing a tax system that moves the tax base away from the local community? Forcing local neighborhood schools to close? Dislocating students from their neighborhood surroundings? Co-locating charter schools within a public school? Destroying both your parental voice and your representative vote so that there is no longer any local school district accountability?

Many of us over the past few decades have been watching elected officials be thrown out of their rightful positions. We have watched as parents and educators at meetings and rallies begging for their schools not to close. Do American citizens truly understand the overall effects of these increasingly common local events to the entire country? Is there more to this story? Yes! MORE!

DANGER: GÜLEN CHARTER SCHOOLS AND THE FETHULLAH GÜLEN MOVEMENT! Part 3

Replacing Erdoğan with Fethullah Gulen

So the CIA plan is to once again decide who should be at the head of a country. Not the people of Turkey, but American businessmen, politicians and the CIA. Dump Erdoğan and put someone they can control like Gülen in his place. In March 2016, Mort Abramowitz and Eric Edelman, the CIA-Gladio Zionist operatives, both former U.S. ambassadors to Turkey are the co-chairs of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s (BPC) Turkey Initiative called for Turkey’s President Erdogan to either resign or reform.

Seriously I ask you America, are you really happy all these decisions are being made for our citizenry through the United Nations and other foreign countries when it is we, the American people” that are expected to pay for their lies and manipulations?

But then “What difference does it make?” Hillary Clinton, herself personally and her foundations have taken Gülen and other funds from the Mid-East and South East Asia, but she has admitted to America that WE, the U.S. created and have funded Al Qaeda as a terrorist organization in the heyday of the Soviet-Afghan war.

“What she doesn’t mention is that at no time in the course of the last 35 years has the US ceased to support and finance Al Qaeda as a means to destabilizing sovereign countries. It was ‘a pretty good idea’, says Hillary, and it remains a good idea today:

“Amply documented, the ISIS and Al Nusrah Mujahideen are recruited by NATO and the Turkish High command, with the support of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel”. “‘Let’s remember here, the people we are fighting today we began funding them twenty plus years ago”.

It has come to the point that Americans must admit to themselves that the Global War on Terror (GWOT) is being led by the U.S. and they aren’t trying as hard to hide the fact these days. And the Global war is not directed against Al Qaeda – we are using them as foot soldiers for our agenda.  Replace and change where WE want the changes to be regardless of who it hurts.

The UN Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) is an Office of the United Nations Secretariat established in January 1998 as the Department for Disarmament Affairs. Its goal is to promote nuclear disarmament, weapons of mass destruction, chemical and biological weapons, along with conventional weapons, especially landmines and small arms. Snopes will tell you this department does not exist.  Never trust Snopes!

In 1959 Fethullah Gülen gave his first speech in a Mosque near the border of Greece and Bulgaria stating “Islam needed to undergo a process of renewal and that Communism was the core evil of humanity”. From this, how could anyone have predicted that several decades later, Fethullah Gülen would stand at the helm of a powerful movement with several million followers with the full support of and operating in the United States?

Gülen and his followers are opportunistic and they know how to manipulate to their benefit. In the ‘80’s Gülen positioned himself against communism to gain the support of the US/CIA. He has now managed to align himself with the Jewish community with his “love and peace” act Institutions and since he never takes risks but rather determines the direction of his moves by the wind, and then his followers will do anything to succeed.

According to the United States government a law abiding American citizen who buys survival food, a returning veteran from Iraq and Americans who criticize the government are considered “domestic terrorists” by our elected government, current president and NWO progressives. I consider the current inner workings of our government, especially the CIA and know-it-all- neocon’s to be “home grown terrorists.

But yet our government will play “Russian roulette” with our lives with the very people who wish us dead. Muslims can tell you until the moon turns blue that Islam is a “religion of peace”, but their “bible” – the Qur’an, paints an entirely different picture.

Make no mistake, Gülen is a radical Islamist who hides secret and sinister agendas with his supposedly moderate message.  If an individual wants to be a serious follower of Gülen, he or she must obey absolutely the ideology and the practices of the community, and if anyone has a different opinion, especially one contrary to Gülen’s, then he or she is considered to have betrayed the Movement and consequently is not welcomed in the community. That is a great deal of power for one man.

Do you understand what different words and phrases of Islam mean? Islamophobia is a charge against Christians and it means you have offended them and should be put to death. Justice to a Muslim means Sharia and Sharia means if you don’t believe you are against Mohammad and his teaching and you are to die. Jihad is a “war” against the “infidels” and you are an infidel according to Mohammad.

As far back as 1997, both Mort Abramowitz and Eric Edelman have been attached to Fethullah Gülen and their military memorandum as they were involved in coup scenarios to push then Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan of the Welfare Party to resign and end his coalition government.

A Washington Post piece in 2014 by both of these men and Blaise Misztal, who is the director of National Security at the BPC, asked for regime change in Turkey and called on U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration to overthrow the Turkish government.

Then we have Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon official and committed neocon, who came out this past March stating his sympathy for a coup in Turkey. Originally published on the American Enterprise Institutes (AEI) website, Rubin openly encouraged the Turkish military to carry out an intervention, stating that the U.S. government would work with the new regime if that happened.

So here is another neocon that helped the regime change Iraq and destroyed that country; backed the Kurds while he started the partitioning of Iraq; tried to change the regime in Iran for decades and backed the neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

Reminding the readers, I revealed in my posting “CIA Supporting the Islamic Indoctrination of Our Children” that in January, 2016 a declassified US intelligence report from the Pentagon was released revealing Western support for Syria’s rebels and it also revealed an aided and abetted rise of the ‘Islamic State’. The report included high-level confirmation that the US-led strategy in Syria contributed directly to the rise of the Islamic State (IS).

The document showed that in coordination with the Gulf states and Turkey, the West intentionally sponsored violent Islamist groups to destabilize Assad, and that these “supporting powers” desired the emergence of a “Salafist Principality” in Syria to “isolate the Syrian regime.” It appears they intend to do the same in Turkey! Americans have had absolutely no say in any of these actions because we aren’t even supposed to know about them.

According to this report, this “beyond staggering” plot by the CIA to overthrow the current government of Turkey, replace Erdoğan with Gülen while at the same time utilizing Islamic State terrorists as “leverage” was first started in 2008 by the US military-intelligence establishment supported think tank American Enterprise Institute (AEI) whose board members are a “who’s who” of American military connected individuals, including former US Vice President Dick Cheney, and whose research papers advocated the United States creating what they call a “moderate Muslim” majority in the Middle East to battle Islamic extremists and whose target nation for this action was Turkey.

Aiding the CIA in this effort, this report continues, is the Turkish Imam Fethullah Gülen who came to the United States in 1999, gaining a “permanent visa” with help from former CIA officials which includes Graham Fuller.

Yet the FBI and other agencies have labeled Gülen “a radical Islamist”. Gülen was intentionally presented to America as a “peace loving Muslim” for him to be able to garner support in the right places including the America’s parents of his schools and politicians. Graham Fuller did a good job portraying this picture of Gülen.

In 2008, over the strong objections of the FBI, US State Department and Department of Homeland Security, Gülen managed to get a special Green Card and US permanent residency status. This was all done with the intervention of Morton Abramowitz and Graham E. Fuller.  According to former FBI Turkish translator and whistleblower, Sibel Edmonds, “Abramowitz, a known neocon, Israel lobbyist, CIA and State Department Operative, and Project on the New American Century signatory, has been one of Fethullah Gulen’s main handlers and backers.”

The report also supports the information that the FBI strongly resisted granting permanent residency status to Gülen and, according to secret US leaked cables parts of the American government have long believed that Gülen “is a ‘radical Islamist’ whose moderate message cloaks a mere sinister and radical agenda.” It was Graham Fuller’s job to make sure Gülen’s portrayal to the American public was that he was a “peace loving man”.

It was after CIA Fuller got Gülen into the United States, President Erdoğan established in Turkey the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in 2001 as the “moderate Muslim” platform desired by the AEI to effect change throughout the entire Middle East using part of Gülen’s massive wealth estimated between $22-50 billion.

In his 1999 speech Gülen is heard calling on his supporters to “work patiently and to creep silently into the institutions in order to seize power in the state“. Does this sound like “peace” to you?

The timing of Gülen’s arrival in the US is interesting as he was actually “defecting” from Turkey since Turkish prosecutors had demanded a ten-year sentence for Gülen for having “founded an organization that sought to destroy the secular apparatus of state and establish a theocratic state“. Gülen has not left the United States since.

America certainly is not the only country waking up. Other countries are taking a very serious look at the workings behind the Gülen schools, the turn-out of students and just how that money is flowing in and out of the Gülen workings.

It is to be understood the actual “patriotic” worth of the CIA’s actions depend upon who sits at the helm (Obama) and the director of the CIA always is a reflection of the POTUS. Hence we have John Brennan who you should recall refused to release 28 pages of the 911 Report because HE claimed it contained inaccurate information”. Well, couldn’t they release the pages and mark what the CIA claimed was inaccurate?

Brennan and CFRWho is John O. Brennan? Most certainly a globalist, supporter of the Obama agenda and a man who has worked for the CIA in enough positions for the past 25 years to write a book. Brennan withdrew his name from consideration for Director of the CIA in the first Obama administration over concerns about his support for transferring terror suspects to countries where they may be tortured while serving under President George W. Bush. Instead, Obama appointed Brennan Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism AND Assistant to the President, a new position which did not require Senate confirmation.

Placing Brennan in the position of Dir. of the CIA, has put one of Obama’s closet and most powerful aides in charge of an agency that has been transformed by more than a decade of secret wars. Working for Obama Brennan has:

  • Overseen the escalation of drone strikes in Pakistan in 2010.
  • Was the principal architect of the administration’s secret counterterrorism operations in Yemen.
  • Became a prominent public spokesman for the administration, appearing on television after foiled terrorist plots and giving speeches about the legality and morality of targeted killing.
  • Brennan denied his use of brutal interrogation methods and ended up with the prize job for Obama.
  • After Brennan was sworn into his office not on a Bible but on a copy of the Constitution rumors came out he had converted to Muslim while stationed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Liberal leaning Snopes claims the rumor is not true. (
    This would explain his very close relationship with Obama).
  • The Beauty of Islam according to John Brennan of which is what Obama learned as a child in Jakarta.
  • Spoke forcefully for closing the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and colleagues say he has argued for greater openness and clearer rules for targeted killing.
  • His reporting of the supposed raid to kill Osama bin Laden was proved to be inaccurate.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton helped in the establishment of the Turkish Gülen Charter Schools and the Gülen Movement in the US with a brokered deal to split the revenue from the sale of the oil captured in Iraq by ISIS Radical Islamic Terrorists, a  deal between Prime Minister Erdogan’s and Gülen’s factions in Turkey. The captured oil was subsequently driven to the Turkish border in oil truck caravans to be sold by Prime Minister Erdogan’s son.  For using her good offices to help Gülen, Clinton was paid an estimated $1 million – half to the Clinton Family Foundation and half to campaign coffers.

“The Chokehold on Our Children” Part 2

The ‘progressive’ movement has been a slow, evil virus which has floated over this country like a deadly cloud. It is a man, woman and child eating monster for anyone who is a patriot, Christian, conservative or just happens to not agree with them. It demands redistribution of wealth and loan shark style taxation – known and hidden. It wants your speech, guns and children to form another fascist/socialist/whatever you want to call it to control your very existence, just by a new name -New World Order and his brother in crime the One World Religion.

I call it Collectivism versus Individualism!

They have known for many, many years the road to accomplish this was through the education of your children using indoctrination.

Why the push on Charter Schools? Because they are an experiment which to date have proven they can create more scandals than all the traditional public schools in the country put together. They don’t tell you that do they?

Why is the Federal government pouring billions of $$ into Charter school funding and yet what they put in place to “fix” the traditional public schools is more Title I funds for low income which has never worked because at the same time they continue to tell them they will never get to college or make anything of themselves. They play games with the grade scoring, curriculum, go up and then down as a priority and continue to throw our money down the drain on junk ideas – hence no improvement.

The scandals – how do they happen? Go here – it is like reading a mystery novel! Pick your state or city and go for it!

By putting a financial chokehold on the Charter schools by getting in too deep because of the mega fees charged by the Management companies; creating inflammatory budgets and outlandish salary packages for principals; less than excellent teachers through Teach for America teachers rather than those educated to be teachers; far too lenient legislation leaving the elected boards with no actual control and when they do try to close a failing school, the state charter boards and management companies step in and beg to give a failing school another 2 years; charter school board members serving as board members of several schools within a management  company circle. One or two school board meetings a year; school principals without credentials – not to mention the real dirt!

Let’s take a look at New Orleans where after Katrina, their schools were so bad they decided the cure was to make the whole school district charter. The results have been devastating! Called the state-level Recovery School District it was originally presented as a temporary solution.

The purpose of government controlled school “they” told us was to prepare our children to be good citizens for the country and to be able to gain a college degree if they wished and go into the job market they wanted. They never wanted us to know that it was corporate whores who would be making all the decisions regarding our children’s education.

A clear danger sign of things to come for all parents should have been when the CEO of Exxon-Mobil wrote that threatening letter to the governor of PA to “get in line with the Common Core Standards” or else!

With many citizens displaced after Katrina and more than 7K citizens unemployed, most schools were taken away from local control, with no community input as the feds and venture philanthropists provided money for the development of charter schools with no comparable sum offered to rebuild the traditional public schools.

Now, New Orleans has a system of individual and charter management schools (CMO’s) where taxpayer and Parental Control has flown the coop.

Charter school vulturesWith limited public oversight and transparency, these CMOs have the control of the taxpayers money; teachers working 70+ hours a week; staffed primarily by young, non-local white teachers who have no idea how to equate to the black students in New Orleans. Teach for America (TFA) teachers have tripled with a large share of them in leadership positions with little or no experience. TFA teachers are working mostly in the “no excuses” charter schools including KIPP and Mastery Charter.

What are “no excuses” Charter schools? They claim that more rigorous and uniform teaching methods along with scripted curriculum geared to being successful on high-stakes tests is the path to success. It sounds great until you understand the path being used is a very deliberate behavior regime that they insist all the children follow which begins in kindergarten and consists of submission, obedience and self-control.

Not bad values until you understand this path also includes no opportunity for play, relaxation or extra-curricular activities because that is “wasted” time. And they are being tested, tested, tested!

It has also produced very high rates of suspension in these schools which in some cases is not being documented and is from the statistics, being aimed at the black students.

Don't Be Charter Fooled 2In 2 of the “no excuses” charter schools (KIPP and Mastery) data is no longer being used for “education quality”, but the very purpose of the school itself. With few exceptions, the curriculum is characterized by a narrow interpretation of state standards at the expense of all other material. Students rarely learn local history or current events. Instead, science and social studies were relegated to ancillary classes in the elementary school and reduced to the accumulation of vocabulary and lists of facts at the middle school.

What makes a No-Excuses School a No-Excuses School?

  • High behavioral and academic expectations for all students—these expectations are applied without exception for extenuating circumstance, hence the designation No-Excuses. No-Excuses. This means that no matter how troubling a student’s home-life may be, no matter what difficulties they may have to overcome in their neighborhood or family, a student is still expected to work hard and follow the school’s code of behavior. This attitude arises from an idealistic and, in fact, very radical assumption that lies at the heart of the No-Excuses movement: that every student, no matter what his or her background, is capable of high academic achievement and success in life.
  • A strict behavioral and disciplinary code that leaves little room for ambiguity or inconsistency—rules and punishments are laid out in Talmudic detail, usually in a document that is required—and tested—reading for all students and faculty at the beginning of the year. In many schools, tardiness, even by a couple of minutes, and uniform violation (a missing belt, bright nail-polish, etc.) lead to automatic detentions.

Silence seemed to be especially important in the hallways. At the sound of each bell at the middle school, students were expected to line up at “level zero” with their faces forward and hands behind their backs and, when given permission, step into the hallway and onto strips of black duct tape. There they waited for the command of an administrator: “John, you can move to your next class!

Students then marched until they reach the STOP sign on the floor. Then their pass is checked for hallway permission before moving on to the next class or “restroom” time. Behavior infractions are being administered through their iPhone for everyone to see.

“No excuses” is also being used to foster “social justice” of which they are told it is to help them get into college. Detroit’s story is as interesting and shows education has come to be an element of social justice robots.

Remind you of any the pictures you have seen of Hitler’s education?

Joan Goodman, a professor in the Graduate School of Education University of Pennsylvania (not one of my favorites but she is right here in this quote about the programs) “These schools start with the belief that there’s no reason for the large academic gaps that exist between poor minority students and more privileged children. They argue that if we just used better methods, demanded more, had higher expectations, enforced these higher expectations through very rigorous and uniform teaching methods and a very uniform and scripted curriculum geared to being successful on high-stakes tests, we can minimize or even eradicate these large gaps, high rates of drop outs and the academic failures of these children. To reach these objectives, these schools have developed very elaborate behavioral regimes that they insist all children follow, starting in kindergarten.”

Submission, obedience, and self-control are very large values being taught in the “no excuses” formatted Charter schools. They want kids to submit. You can’t really do this kind of instruction if you don’t have very submissive children who are capable of high levels of inhibition and do whatever they’re told.

“These schools are not geared to what students have to know – that is considered wasted time”. Play, relaxation or extra-curricular activities are not important. The view of time and strict discipline are related, by the way; in order to get these kids to attend over very long hours—they have extended days and extended weeks — you have to be tough with the kids, really severe. They want these kids to understand that when authority speaks you have to follow because that’s basic to learning.”

These schools also believe that behaviors that you might not think are directly related to academic learning can have a domino effect if left unaddressed. Getting up from your chair to go to the bathroom without explicit permission, for example, or not having your hands folded on your desk, or not looking at the teacher every minute, or not having your feet firmly planted on each side of the center of the desk are problematic behaviors. If you don’t conform to these rules then you are going to precipitate the next domino and the next domino. It’s going to have a cascading effect on your behavior and pretty soon you’re going to be very disruptive.

Discipline comes in the form of being isolated from the rest of the class – they have to wear different colored shirts, can’t talk even to ask questions, may sit on a lower bench than the other children. And it’s all about the deliberate shaming of the kids.

Mastery Charter Schools and Mastery Schools of Camden form a non-profit school network in Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ serving over 10,500 students in grades K-12.  “Our mission is to ensure that all students learn the academic and personal skills they need to succeed in higher education, compete in the global economy and pursue their dreams. This begins in kindergarten!”  KIPP schools format seems to fall in line with Mastery!

For years now, advocates of the “no excuses” brand of charter school have denied the obvious.  While loudly proclaiming the test scores and graduation rates of the students who remain at their schools are at the top, they have denied that their application processes combined with the harsh discipline environments that emphasize extreme conformity to extreme behavioral expectations are forms of “cream skimming” designed to drive out students less likely to burnish their reputations as “miracle factories.” (Low income students – hence all the offers from the feds to place charters in low income areas).

These schools claim to be targeting the low-income students to help bring them up to a higher standard yet it is these very ‘rules’ that are helping them bring the ‘cream to the top’ without seeming biased or racially defined.  These schools rates for children suspended, expelled or leaving all together far exceed the national averages.

You have heard of the “cream” rising to the top haven’t you? Helps their data figures!

Part of the means of obtaining the “cream” in their schools, they use extreme in-school discipline tactics that emphasize how only a certain type of child is welcome in the school, and discipline is often coupled with overt and covert pressure for parents to transfer struggling students out.  The evidence is by now substantial that charter schools in the “no excuses” category seek different applicants to their schools via complicated procedures prior to admissions lotteries, and once students enter they quickly seek to push out students who will not fully and promptly comply with their expectations.

Charter schools will tell you more than 90% of their students are passing tests and almost 100% get into college. Reformers want you to believe they are a success and they will never tell you there is any dishonesty going on with testing and data. Where is the data to prove these statements?

Education Monsters 2People like Jeb Bush, Huckabee and all the Charter school management companies will tell you they are serving the same students as traditional public schools – they just know how to do it better. They will tell you one of their goals is to beat the standings of Finland but even they have learned testing, especially teaching to a test for better scores, proves nothing. When in a discussion with these reformers and you tell them their students are actually not doing any better, they will revert to comparing different management schools rather than as a whole.

Mastery Learning was first introduced in the 1920’s suggesting this was the way to tap into an individual’s potential for learning. In the early 1960s the idea of mastery learning was revived in the form of programmed instruction. Other names used in reference to this are Competency Based Education, Performance Based Education and Student Centered Learning.

More and more of the current Charter school models are using this failed form of education and at the same time using different names for the same ole thing. Referring to our children as “human capital” and given as proof of the mentality of that is the corporate intrusion into our education systems all over the country.

The real main problem of this education is Mastery Learning supports the ideology that the individual students meet certain standards or learning outcomes, but since our children are NOT common and do learn different things at different paces – hence the ongoing failure of the use of this method of teaching. The powers to be have been experimenting with this education game since the late 80’s – the thoughts in their minds since the early 1900’s. Each time the experiment was put in place it was a failure and they knew the only way they could get this implemented all over the country was in the way they did it.

Keep in mind that the schools which claim to be teaching social and moral values may not necessarily be what you think are right for your children. In today’s educational system the mindset seems to be a more free thinking system – one that is addressing issues which conflict with conservative morals and values. Parents need to really look inside these schools and not assume that because they are a charter or private school that they are better than the traditional school their child is currently attending.

The words Charter and Private are just words – what is important is what is happening behind the closed doors.

I still have not been able to come to terms with the fact that OUR Commissioners/superintendents of our children’s education (who are supposed to have an education background) would deliberately do this to our children. It still comes down to money, power and control which also makes it extremely evil. Anyone involved in this scheme doesn’t deserve our respect and need to be sent home – charged with treason would be too good for them!

PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN –

On October 8, 2013 I posted an article titled “Federal Government Backdoor Takeover of Education”.  I told parents about how school boards around America needed to take a serious look at what the Federal government is imposing on them  and their children!

In 2012  the government came up with the National Sexuality Education Standards (NSES) and still today parents have no idea these exist. To make it look like Arne Duncan and Obama had nothing to do with it, they were put through and written by  The American Association of Health Education (www. aahperd.org/aahe); The Future of Sex Education (FoSE) Initiative (www.futureofsexed.org.);  The American School Health Association (www.ashaweb. org);  The National Education Association – Health Information Network (www.neahin.org)  and The Society of State Leaders of Health and Physical Education (www.thesociety.org).

Kathleen Sebelius was at the time Secretary of Health and Human Services and totally supported everything Obama put forth including this and FERPA. She is also pro abortion and Planned Parenthood. Even being a mother, this woman like so many liberals has no problem causing damage to other children.

On page six, they announce:  The National Sexuality Education Standards were further informed by the work of the CDC’s Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT); existing state and international education standards that include sexual health content; the Guidelines for Comprehensive Sexuality Education: Kindergarten – 12th Grade4; and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics5, recently adopted by most states.

To remind parents, these standards start with our Kindergaten children now and each state has created their own set of Pre-K ‘Operating Guidelines” and since the big push is for the Pre-K “schools and nursuries” to take children with federal dollars, there is even more control of your children at this early age.

National Health Services (NHS) boards are also jumping on the bandwagon calling for new sex-ed curriculum to cover in depth gay marriages and the changes of transgender and they are objecting to provisions allowing parents to opt their children out of the classes.

It would do well for parents to be sure they know and understand exactly what is being taught to their children in regard to sex, life styles and everything that pertains to them for the hours they spend at their schools. Slipping in “eye scans” and other tricky manuvers to track and manipulate our children are common place today.

Reminding parents it was the Bill Gates Foundation, Carnegie Foundation and Fox News Robert Murdoch who put up the $100 million to create the “nonprofit” IBloom database which was to allow schools and testing companies to share information they were to collect on individual students from their attendance records, to include parent’s names through to the test score results.

Fortunately in the Spring of 2014, IBloom was dumped because of all the sustained protests by parents and privacy advocacy groups concerns.

Through legislation of individual states “in the name of innovation” the data would also be made available to for-profit companies (PPP’s) seeking to peddle a variety of educational products and services to school districts. In return for this the legislators received campaign donations from various for-profit companies.

Did you notice how the past and present governor’s who were running for president all had changed their mind’s in regard to the Common Core now standing against it – all accept Ohio’s governor Kasich who strongly supports the CCSS, but he also has a state full of Charter school scandals.

Even the National PTA received over $1 million to support the Common Core.

Where has all the money been coming from?  Let’s see – we had George Soros, Bill Gates Foundations, Jeb Bush’s 2 Foundations , Walmart Foundation and former governor Mike Huckabee embracing the CC by money, verbal support, ads or all mentioned. There are plenty more but these individuals have an agenda of their own. You would think that this group would be strange bedfellows, but in fact they are nothing but corporate elitists looking to push along the New World Order of which Education is supposed to play the largest role in the “dumbing down and controlling of our children”.

Even the Islamists put a great deal more than just their “two cents” into this game with them being the third-largest shareholder in Pearson who has their fingers on the publishing of the textbooks along with coming up with standards.

You might also want to check in your state to see how much if any Soros money is funding your children’s education. It 2011 was revealed that Bill Gates and Soros money along with the Koch Brothers have their money in the Education pot! Link  Link  Link  Link

The education non-profit Teach for America  (TFA)has been under increasing fire recently as critics and alumni accuse the organization of misappropriating their original mission by backing the policies of the “corporate education agenda” that promote privatization, the expansion of charter schools and the undermining of teachers unions.

In 2013, criticism reached a higher note when the news broke that Wal-Mart owners, the Walton Family—key backers of charter school expansion and the effort to end teacher protections—donated $20 million to the nonprofit TFA for “recruitment, training and professional development,” bringing their total support for TFA to over $100 million since 1993.

“The Walton Family Foundation’s support for Teach for America is driven by the organization’s proven ability to create a pipeline of outstanding education reform leaders,”said Ed Kirby, deputy director of the Walton Family Foundation’s K-12 Education Reform effort, in a statement released last week.

Unfortunately, Mr. Kirby is not bothering to speak to all the previous young men and women who have taught through Teach for America – they do not support TFA unless they have been given a high paying position within the company.

Florida gained a new State School Board member 2 years ago who claimed she was a “life-long”professional teacher. The truth is she graduated from the “progressive” Bank Street College of Edu. for her Maasters 04-06 and during the same time was working for TFA and then took a high paying job from them to run their office in Miami as their Program Director. Some Educator!

The 2015 ESSA is presenting to parents the introduction of Community Education. That’s where the “community” as a whole has a say about the education of your child – your opinion no longer counts.

If the school as an agency of society is to justify itself for the period ahead of us, it must be accepted that its fundamental function is to serve the people of the entire community, the very young children, the children of middle years, early adolescent youth, older youth and the adults as well.

Concerned Americans should read Dorothy Dawson’s articles published in 1968 in The Montgomery County (MD) The  Advertiser (see pages 31 and 38 in Charlotte Iserbyt’s book the deliberate dumbing down of america). Her articles include the 1946 totalitarian womb to-tomb community school plan for Americans which I think is the early UN Agenda 21; new name/same agenda).

Backdoor moves by the Obama Administration have become the “way of the land” The changes in the FERPA laws ,rather than going through congress, were done by making the Data Mining of your children’s information a mandate to be implemented through the Department of Labor.

You see Obama just calls the heads of these departments to his office and “mandates” what he wants done. They change the rules and we have “allowed” this to happen by not holding Congress accountable for not reigning in Obama. Instead Congress just sits back and smiles and writes the checks with our money.

The People LLC, a very effective, “faceless” grassroots  organization in Louisiana, had a huge victory a while back regarding opt-out”.

Angela Alef of The People, LLC stated, “The other thing that keeps getting overlooked in the law and this is the last thing that I’ll bring up and I appreciate your patience, is that it doesn’t say children can’t be asked these questions unless there’s an opt-in or an opt-out.  It doesn’t say they can be asked these questions only if it’s presented voluntarily.  It says they can’t be asked these questions; and, anyone who wants this information from children has to go speak to their parent and get it from the parent if the parent chooses to voluntarily disclose it.

I didn’t pass that legislation–you guys did.  And we were very, extremely proud of the stance Louisiana took.  And we have always said at The People, LLC that Louisiana is the state who can lead the other states out of the mess that this country’s in.  And, I believe you guys led when you passed the Student Data Privacy Act, which is, despite the changes made last session, it still is the strongest student data privacy law in the nation—well-surpassing any protections that FERPA used to or currently provides.”

DANGER: GÜLEN CHARTER SCHOOLS AND THE FETHULLAH GÜLEN MOVEMENT! Part 2

Knowing how we have been misled by those we trusted hurts, especially from people like the Bush Clan who most Republicans blindly put a great deal of faith, time and money into. Knowing there are those who are going to support a person no matter what, hurts more.

This information has been researched and reported by many and has even been in our courts, so please read and help us remove the Gülen Charter schools and the entire movement from our shores and bring awareness as to our governments involvement in changing the world thru the hidden efforts of the CIA and world leaders.

In addition to his schools in the US, Gülen has schools and Madrasas (Arabic word for educational institutions) all over the world. His Madrasas were outlawed in countries like Russia and Uzbekistan and his schools were under investigation in the Netherlands. Plus, the origin of his immense wealth, which he uses to open and operate these schools all over the world, is unclear. As proven previously a great deal of it is American tax $$.

Graham Fuller GulenThe CIA’s Graham Fuller, former handler of Fethullah Gülen, is currently one of the top American experts on Turkey and the Middle East. As a former CIA agent it was HE who endorsed Gülen to be allowed to not only enter the U.S., but take up residence in the Poconos Mountains, start over 100+ Charter schools collecting our tax dollars in the process along with the freedom to indoctrinate our children.

One of the frequently discussed issues in contemporary Turkey is the political influence of “The Gülen Movement,” (Hizmet) or the religious network inspired by the teachings of Fethullah Gülen. Almost all observers including the FBI agree that the movement needs to be taken as a serious “radical threat”. The very fact that one part the U.S. government gave this man permanent residency in our country claiming him to be an excellent scholar, while the rest of the country including the FBI look at Gülen for what he is – a “radical Muslim” while using our children and working within the confines and protection of our government is treasonous to me.

In an interview last year Fuller was asked if the U.S. would be sending Gülen back to Turkey as Prime Minister Erdogan had asked and Fuller basically stated Erdogan has no proof of any of the charges against Gülen and he would be staying in the US – Obama agreed.

With the very large role Fuller played in bringing Gülen to the U.S. (and keeping him here) he still fails to admit the dangers the Gülen schools and movement is placing on Americans within their very borders. Could this be because of Fuller’s link to other “radical” Muslims? You betcha!

In my previous article I explained his role in the Gülen “invasion” and now interesting facts are coming out in regard to how and when Gülen actually started working for the CIA.

Some Americans (especially in Washington) are upset with Wikileaks for the information he has released. I am not as I consider most of what he released was informing “we the people” of the back door maneuvers of our government and most of them against us – their main enemy.

Some of the information released contained details on US unease over Gülen’s operations with the classified documents recounting U.S. officials’ growing concern over the large numbers of Turkish men seeking H-1B visas to work at American charter schools founded and funded by Fethullah Gülen and OUR tax $$.

Turkeys” consular officials had noticed that most of these applicants share a common characteristic – they are generally evasive about their purpose of travel to the US. One destination for visa holders was the Truebright Science Academy, a charter school founded in North Philly by followers of Gülen. An analysis of H1-B visas conducted by the Inquirer showed that the number granted for Gülen charter schools has grown substantially since that 2006 report. More than 2,500 have been issued since 2007. The acting chief executive at Truebright, Tansu Cidav, has declined to discuss the school’s operation. State pension records show Turkish staffers at Truebright are paid more than their American counterparts. In the last school year, a Turkish math teacher who was not certified and spoke little English was paid $54,000; a certified American science teacher was paid $40,200. Keep in mind ALL Gülen workers including teachers are to give back 40% of their pay check which is then in turn given to one of the Gülen Foundations. That’s an additional $2,160 a year of OUR tax dollars funding GÜLEN!

TrueBright was refused a renewal of their contract and closed in December, 2014 because of numerous “failures”:  failure to meet academic goals, lack of a defined curriculum, failure to attract students from its catchment area, not offering world languages or Advanced Placement courses as promised. TrueBright since its opening had not only been part of FBI and Dept. of Labor investigations but sued by several American employees alleging discrimination.

Another perfect example of the system not following up on the certification of teachers working in Charter schools and their unelected school boards. They are pleased to be able to offer these people less money and no benefits until caught (Teach for America teachers?) Most non-American teachers at the Gülen schools are uncertified in this country and here on the H-1B non-immigrant status visas. One-third of this schools teachers alone were from Turkey.

The reason they need to use so many H-1B visas is they bring over a person and they work for 6 months then they let them go and bring in a replacement. The first person then just stays in the US if and when forced to leave. Most are not!

Am I the only one here screaming at the parents who complain their children cannot understand most of the Turkish teachers? Then why in the heck (I am being nice) is your child in that school??? Didn’t you tour it or talk to anyone there before enrolling your child? Talk about putting the cart before the horse!

Can you believe the president of TrueBright’s unelected parent/teachers association was a minister – Rev. James W. Wright, Sr., who stated he had no knowledge that the school administration had lied about the number of seniors who had graduated from the school – they said 50 students and it was only 33.

Now the real wake-up call!

Former top CIA official Graham Fuller spent 20 years as operations officer in Turkey, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. In 1982 Fuller was appointed the National Intelligence Officer for Near East and South Asia at the CIA, and in 1986, under Ronald Reagan, he became the Vice-Chairman of the National Intelligence Council, with overall responsibility for national level strategic forecasting.

Discovered to be the bomber’s uncle, he became known to the press as Uncle Ruslan.  “Ruslan” gained notoriety for the ferocity with which he denounced his own nephews and their alleged Islamic radicalism. He said all the right things the right way to the “authorities”. But wait – who is this guy anyway?

Uncle Ruslan, a lawyer, and his nephews and their family are from Chechnya! They are Russian Muslims!

As more information came to light about these brothers we find they had worked with the CIA/USAID and they were working and living at the home of none other than our reported Graham Fuller, strong proponent of political Islam, inspiration for the Iran-Contra affair, character reference on more than one occasion for Gülen, former Rand Corp. analyst and former FATHER-IN-LAW to Uncle Ruslan. Oops!

Fuller was also the senior CIA person who was the architect of the Afghan Islamic fundamentalist Mujahideen war against the Soviets and he was also involved in creating a global jihad network, presumably acting on behalf of CIA interests.

Are Americans to still believe the CIA is not behind the increase of “radical Islam” in this country?

Yessir its true – Graham Fuller’s daughter Samantha Fuller had married Ruslan Tsarnaev (who has changed his name to Ruslan Tsarni) and he is the uncle of Tamerlane and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Bombers. Ruslan and Samantha Fuller were married in the early 1990’s and divorced sometime in 2004.

More than a little embarrassed, Fuller spoke to the press claiming Ruslan was “homesick” for Chechnya and that his English was “shaky”. Yet a few days later a very English-fluent Ruslan gave his press conference from his very affluent Maryland home denouncing his nephews to the world.

In 1995, Ruslan Tsarnaev incorporated the Congress of Chechen International Organizations in Maryland, using on the incorporation documents the very same address as Fuller’s home address in Rockville Maryland. Tsarnaev also at one time worked for one of the Dick Cheney’s Halliburton shell companies used as a front to obtain oil contracts from the Kazakhstan government and in 2005 was also working for the CIA/USAID which is part of the State Dept. and actually a front for the CIA allowing access to an array of places around the globe.

(USAID were the ones responsible through the Centre for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (Canvas) who took Middle East students and trained them in readiness for the ‘Arab Spring’. CANVAS is part-funded and supported by globalist foundations like George Soros’s Freedom House and Open Society Institute, as well as CIA-linked National Endowment for Democracy and, of course, the full frontal USAID – our $$.)

Through the investigation of the Boston Bombings, Fuller continued to state it was “absurd” to try and link the CIA to the Boston bombings. Really?

In addition, Fuller has long made the argument that Islam is a potentially useful geopolitical tool for the United States to manipulate for their own use. He has been quoted as saying, “The policy of guiding the evolution of Islam and of helping them against our adversaries worked marvelously well in Afghanistan against the Russians. The same doctrines can still be used to destabilize what remains of Russian power, and especially to counter the Chinese influence in Central Asia.”

Tamerlane and Dzhokhar came to the US in 2003 with their parents and sisters. In early 2011 Russian officials asked the FBI to look after Tamerlane’s activities. “The request stated that it was based on information that he was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country’s (Russia) region to join unspecified underground groups.”

The summer of 2011 interview of Tamerlane and his family didn’t reveal any problems according to the FBI. In January 2012 Tamerlane returned to Russia for 6 months and supposition is that he spent that time with Chechen Islamic rebels. His father claims he never left the US.

I might be a female, but when I went to school the object was to have you learn and become smarter – not like today where you are to leave after 12 years of schooling as a “dumbed down” indoctrinated shell! The CIA has its name tagged all over many dirty dealings which include things done inside and outside the US which have and continue to affect our lives and not necessarily in a good way.

Imam Gülen’s “movement” is described as “religiously-inspired” and some refer to Gülen as a scholar, however he only attended school through the 5th grade, but he seems to have smart enough people under him running his several hundred educational organizations such as K–12 schools, universities, and language schools (mostly English) that have been established around the world, mainly in Central Asia, Caucasus, Balkans, and 146 Charter schools in the U.S. You understand, Gülen claims he has NOTHING personally to do with the schools or foundations. But, isn’t Islam a religion?

How did he receive his U.S. residency status while he was ‘wanted’ by the then Turkish Government, is no longer a mystery. Now, this man owns and operates charter schools all across America obtaining our tax dollars through various foundations despite the fact his Madrasas were outlawed in countries like Russia and Uzbekistan.

Of course, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton helped in the establishment of the Turkish Gülen Charter Schools and the Gülen Movement in the US with a brokered deal to split the revenue from the sale of the oil captured in Iraq by ISIS Radical Islamic Terrorists, a  deal made between Prime Minister Erdogan’s and Gülen’s factions in Turkey and overseen by the CIA. The captured oil was subsequently driven to the Turkish border in oil truck caravans to be sold by Prime Minister Erdogan’s son.  For using her good offices to help Gülen, Clinton was paid an estimated $1 million with half going to the Clinton Family Foundation and half to the Clinton Presidential Campaign (payment to a political campaign by a foreigner is in violation of US Federal Campaign Laws). “So what difference does it make?”

Never forget that “a poor man’s war is terrorism while a rich man’s terrorism is war” – and sometimes those lines cross for the purposes of big-power politics.

DANGER: GULEN CHARTER SCHOOLS AND THE FETHULLAH GULEN MOVEMENT! Part 1

“The charter school experiment has resulted in the United States being the only country in the world where the Gülen Movementhas been able to establish schools fully funded by  the host country’s taxpayers.”  The Joke’s on US!

The world should never forget “Islam is a Human time bomb ignited by a hair trigger called hatred – them toward us”.

The Gulen Charter schools and the Gulen Movement must be removed from the United States. I recently wrote an article regarding the CIA’s role in allowing Sheikh Mohammed Fethullah Gulen into this country and put all the blame for their invasion into our school systems upon the CIA and uninformed and unquestioning state and local school boards. Now they are invading our military bases. It is time for parents to understand the full danger involved in this Jihad. For the 2015-2016 school year we have 155 Gulen Charter schools in 25 states with Texas (52) and Ohio (17) having the most. In 2011, Texas only had 33.

Since February 1997, the National Security Council, the all-powerful institution which includes the civilian and military leaders of the country, has repeatedly placed political Islam at the top of its list of threats to this nation and vowed to “refuse all compromise” in its fight against religious radicalism. A few months later, the net was widened and the list of potential suspects grew longer: investigations have been launched against hundreds of civil servants, teachers, governors and local leaders, accused of being too close to the “forces of reaction”

I would like to remind the readers that it was the CIA who supported Gulen being allowed to come into this country supposedly because he was ill with the endorsement of Graham Fuller, now former CIA agent. Sorry CIA but diabetes can be treated all over the world. The FBI had started several investigations against the Gulen operation for numerous reasons, one of them to prevent Gulen from being granted permanent residency in America and to have him deported. Even though the FBI had determined Gulen to be a “Radical Islamist”, the Islamic angels in Obama’s White House, CIA and Clinton’s State Dept. reigned in the FBI preventing them from indicting and deporting Gulen and his whole operation. Hum!

Taking a look back in history in case you weren’t aware, the Brennan’s CIA is and has been supporting the Islamic indoctrination of our U.S. children and the whole program here in the U.S. was fundamentally developed by George Soros Center for American Progress and Gulen.  The object is to “force feed” our children “Radical Islamic” educational programs and incentives.

Talk about your own government supporting working from inside to ruin YOUR country!

The past and present governors of Texas told their citizens they were protecting their children by not participating in the Common Core ruination of our education system, but instead they have allowed the Gulen movement to grow within the state and also allowing the Gulen Institute to be at home on the grounds of the University of Houston.

The Institute website talks a good talk as does Fethullah and all his mouthpieces, but the research that has been done is undeniable. With speakers like this how could anyone go wrong?

Gulen Speakers Names

Even if you don’t have any children currently in school or a Gulen Charter school, Americans need to understand the damage being done here to our children and the internal conversion to Jihad being paid for by YOU!

Gulen Charter schools are disguised by several different names: Concept, Horizon Science Academy’s, Paragon, Sonoran, LISA Academy, Magnolia, and many, many more. Florida for example has 7 Gulen schools all with different lead names.

Something most Americans don’t know is that Gulen and Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan were best of friends with the same objectives until the Turkish government announced a plan to shutter private schools — many owned by the Gulen movement that help Turkish students prepare for college entrance exams. Two men with big ego’s! They both want to be in charge!

Gulen loves to claim he is all about fighting “poverty, disunity, and ignorance, but his underlying actions tell another story. The use of H-1B visas to bring teachers to America for their schools is also a farce. Local teachers are being passed up for teaching jobs within the Gulen schools with the schools claiming America’s teachers are not smart enough or they don’t have enough education to teach at their STEM schools. No one else in this country applies for more H1B visa’s than Gulen.

The U.S. taxpayer dollars being gained by the Fethullah Gulen operation is undeniable. In 2011, Truebright Science Academy alone received more than $3 million from the Philadelphia School District for its 348 pupils.

The respected German weekly ‘Der Spiegel’ also raised serious questions about Fethullah Gulen and his worldwide movement in a pair of highly critical articles published in 2012 and 2014. The magazine cited individuals who broke ties with Gulen and who characterize Hizmet as an ‘ultraconservative secret society’ and Gulen himself as an ideologue who tolerates no dissent,’ is ‘only interested in power and influence,’ and ‘dreams of a new age in which Islam will dominate the West returning to the ways of the Ottoman Empire.” This description has been repeated over and over again.

Besides the American taxpayers making the Gulen Movement rich, their followers and teachers give as much as 40% of their earnings to the following, yet the Movement has no headquarters, no address, is not registered anywhere, and has no central bank account.

Collectively the Gulen “movement” and the Gulen schools are under their own Charter School Management Co., Charter Educational Services & Resources formerly known as Grace Institute for Educational Research & Resources.

When I first began investigating Gulen and his schools, what I found so painful was  finding the government of this country so twisted that we have the CIA bringing Fethullah Gulen into this country and the FBI looking into their fraud and Jihad activities and our government is once again taking the lead on ruining America.

Look what it got us:  The CIA coming up with this less than brilliant idea, believed they could control Gulen and at the same time abuse the religious structure in America as a cover to advance their design of global control. In 2008 Bill Clinton made a speech praising Gulen at the Third Annual Friendship Dinner organized by the Turkish Cultural Center of New York (a Gulenist organization). The website Citizens Against Special Interest Lobbying in Public Schools (CASILIPS), later confirm Hillary Clinton’s involvement:

“However, the most probable reason for Bill Clinton’s attendance was the Gulenists’ numerous contributions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Clinton Foundation. A sampling can be seen in this Table. All these contributions came from individuals identified as Gulenist based in their affiliations with Gulenist organizations or schools.”

 Not only the Clinton’s, but education’s main destroyer Bill Gates has used his foundation to also fund the Gulen movement. They are after all Charter schools and that is the road to ruination. In 2007, through the Texas (again) High School Project, the Gates Foundation shelled out $10,550,000 to the Cosmos Foundation, another Gulen enterprise which operates several publicly funded Gulen Charter schools in Texas.

One teacher from the South stated, “the Gülen movement’s ultimate goal is to open charter schools in the U.S. to funnel U.S. tax dollars back into the Gülen movement in Turkey. They skim just enough off the public taxpayers from these charter schools so it won’t look suspicious.” She stated this after her class had won a free cultural trip to Turkey through the Atlantic Institute. The Atlantic and Peace Islands Institute’s, are both Gulen enterprises.

Both of these Institutes claim they are supporting “shared values” and send out press releases claiming they are against the killings (Paris) and offer dinner’s celebrating Gulen, Ramadan, Table of Abraham and Interfaith principals.  Peace Islands Institute website is a must read.

Charter/Choice/Corruption and Egos = Gulen

Even the famous Marxist theoretician Antonio Gramsci was a deep opponent of “progressive” educational methods. He wrote: “The most paradoxical aspect is that this new type of school is advocated as being democratic, while in fact it is destined not merely to perpetuate social differences, but to crystallize them.” He rightly saw that “progressive” methods were of no help to the poor – only intensified it!

Lack of oversight and filling the wallets of legislators by Charter School Management companies is one of the biggest problems in our country today.  I should say after the unlawful intrusion of the Federal government into our children’s education however, this is a path to the Federal government’s total takeover of our education system. Along the way corruption is more the rule than the exception and one of the reasons Charter schools are failing.

One of our biggest dangers to the sovereignty of this country and the protection of our children is the Gulen Charter School system. The American Foreign Policy Council has stated:  “The Charter school experiment has resulted in the U.S. being the ONLY country in the world where the Gulen Movement has been allowed to establish their schools fully funded by the host country’s taxpayers.” Just how insane is that!

Futah 2The Gulen Movement is fantastic at advertising PR, and bestowing fake honors on their students, politicians, and local media and academia. Hizmet aka Gulen Movement will shamelessly act like satisfied American parents or students. They will lie, cajole, manipulate, bribe, blackmail, threaten, and intimidate to get their way which is to expand the Islamic movement through Gulen charter schools. If this doesn’t work they play victim and cry “islamophobia”. Beware of the Gulen propagandists and Gulen owned media outlets.

It should be noted that Turkey has transferred its alliance from Europe and the United States to Russia and Iran. It has moved toward friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, and anti-America animus throughout the populace.

Just last year, the Senate introduced the The Immigration Innovation (“I-Squared”) bill,  S.153, introduced by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R), Sen. Jeff Flake (R), Sen. Marco Rubio (R), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D), Sen. Chris Coons (D), and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D), that would enable companies to hire an unlimited number of workers with advanced degrees from U.S. institutions in science, technology, engineering and math, which critics have said would turn some universities into diploma factories for foreign students. Currently, the first 20,000 H-1B applications for those with advanced STEM degrees are exempted.

Senators who have since signed onto S.153 are Republicans Kirk, Lee, Gardner, McCain, Heller and Ayotte with the addition of Democrat McCaskill and an Independent King. Thank the good Lord this bill has gone nowhere since January 29, 2015.

Hatch said he hoped the bill would be a gateway to “more progress” on a broader immigration bill and at the same time would increase the annual cap on H-1B visas from 65,000 to 115,000, reform student visas, “authorize employment for the dependent spouses of H-1B visas holders, and allow a grace period for foreign workers to “change jobs and not be out of status.”

It needs to be noted that 3 out of 4 Americans with STEM degrees do not hold a job in the STEM field.  It has been calculated that 100% of new hires in the tech industry could be guest workers if Congress continues to increase the number of H-1B visas, which would hold “down wages for both them and new hires and at the same time keep American jobs away from Americans.”

Someone who has found their way into using the H-1B visa program to their best interest is the Fethullah Gülen Movement (FGM).

What should be the greatest attention getters in this country in regard to Charter schools is the Gulen movement. And make no mistake, it is a movement. It is noted and proven their main goal in setting up these Charter schools around the country has been to revive and institute the Ottoman Empire here in America. At the same time, the Gulen Charter system is the largest user of the H-1B visas in this country.

Gulen Charter schools are receiving our tax dollars of which are in turn being turned over to the various Gulen foundations. Fethullah Gulen is referred to as a scholar by the media when in fact he only completed the sixth grade. According to his website he is an “authoritative mainstream Turkish Muslim scholar, thinker, author, poet, opinion leader and educational activist who supports interfaith and intercultural dialogue, science, democracy and spirituality and opposes violence and turning religion into a political ideology.”

According to U.S. Department of Labor data, as of 2012 almost one third of the applications that the Cosmos Foundation which oversees all the Gulen schools in Texas received were for positions not related to mathematics and science, such as art teachers, English teachers, history teachers, accountants, assistant principals, legal counsel, and public relations coordinators. Prior to receiving their visa status from the US, it was reported these future employees had already been accepted into Harmony Charter system when their job positions changed, and that Harmony always promotes from within.

From 2001 to August 2010 the Cosmos Foundation had filed 1,157 H1-B visa applications, and it had imported 731 employees under the H1-B visa, a higher number than all of the other providers of secondary education in the United States combined.  By 2012 the U.S. Department of Labor certified 1,197 H1-B visa applications from Cosmos.

It is to be noted that foreign-educated teachers who would like to teach in U.S. public schools (K-12th grade) must also be certified by the state where they would like to work. Be aware though that some Gulen schools operate under the assumption that just because the school has been granted a certification from the U.S. Labor Department for a certain number of teachers that that qualifies and enables them to teach without certification. Parents should ask to see the certification of all H-1B teachers no matter where they teach.

July, 2015, Turkey’s President Erdogan stated the United States fosters the Gulen movement by allowing them to be in this country. Erdoğan stated that the Gülen Movement operates over 160 charter schools in the U.S. which receives state funding. With regards to how Turkey was dealing with the Gülen Movement and its network of schools, Erdoğan said that the U.S.-based Fethullah Gülen, had “ran away” to the U.S. in 1999, and then established between 150 and 160 schools on U.S. soil.

Fethullah Gulen was forced to leave Turkey having been accused of infiltrating key institutions, including police, judiciary and bureaucracy inside Turkey and trying to take over the country.

The president said that the so-called Gülen Movement was earning huge sums of money through these networks of schools. The Turkish government accuses the Gülen Movement of infiltrating key institutions, including police, judiciary and bureaucracy inside Turkey. “The key point in [winning the] battle with them was the prep schools,” Erdoğan said. “They earned around a billion Turkish liras [around $386 million] from such prep schools. We have shut them down and it was handled,” he added.

Gates MonsterWould it surprise you to know that “not really such a nice guy to our children”, Bill Gates through his Gates Foundation and the Texas High School Project in 2007 shelled out $10,550,000 to the Gulen’s Cosmos Foundation? It certainly doesn’t surprise me since Gates through his foundation has funded everything evil in regard to our children for years – especially through education (CCSS).

The Internal Revenue Service Form 990 for Cosmos shows that as of 2010 the Cosmos Foundation received $41,570,721 from taxpayers. These Gulen schools around the country are also eligible for Title I funds.

An audit done of the Harmony Charter school system and the Cosmos Foundation which was released in July 2012 was done by the TEA and announced that $186,197 in federal grant funds intended to improve education of low income and disabled children was misspent, with 34% of examined expenses being misspent, or 16.1% of the total expenses associated with the grants being misspent. The TEA deemed this “unallowable.” The TEA found that, on one occasion, a campus not eligible for Title I funds received Title I funds. In another, grant funds were used to cover payroll costs, a manner not allowed.

What did the TEA do about it?  There is no documentation to be found that shows the Cosmos Foundation and/or Harmony Charter school system was ever required to pay the Federal government back the misspent funds.

Now it has come to our attention Congress has been taking Gulen funded vacations to Turkey and not all of this activity is being properly documented. Surprised? I’m not!

The teachers, men and women, are allowed to begin teaching immediately (certification?) and these teachers are expected to give back to the school 30-40% of their salary. This money is placed into a secret fund which is used for the Gulen movement.

Gulen Charter schools are the largest charter network in the country and recently red flags have been raised by the FBI. They now have decided to investigate for immigration fraud as well as a misuse of taxpayer $$.  Remember these students are receiving taxpayer dollars as in any other Charter school, but the teachers are having to give back a large portion of their salaries which goes into a secret Gulen movement fund and these funds are taxpayer funds.

Gulen powers to be admit most of the Gulen schools claim to be STEM schools and that is the reason they need to use Turkish teachers. Critics also find it hard to believe that qualified American teachers in math and science are hard to find. One would hope though that American teachers are smart enough to stay away from the likes of Fethullah and his cult.

A former president of the parent’s group at the Young Scholars of Central Pennsylvania Charter School, Ruth Hocker started asking questions when popular, certified American teachers were replaced by uncertified Turkish men who often spoke limited English and were paid higher salaries. Most were placed in math and science classes.

I had previously reported on this blog about school parents describing how uncertified teachers on H-1B visas were moved from one charter school to another when their “emergency” teaching credentials expired and they told of a pattern of sudden turnovers of Turkish business managers, administrators, and board members. They always know how to play the system!

According to one U.S. government document, Gülenist’s use their school worldwide network (including dozens of schools in the U.S.) to cherry-pick students they think are susceptible to being molded as proselytizers and we have steadily heard reports about how the schools indoctrinate boarding students.”

The movement targets youth in the eighth through twelfth grades, mentor and indoctrinate them in the ışıkevi (Illuminated),  educate them in the Fethullah schools, and prepare them for future careers in legal, political, and educational professions in order to create the ruling classes of the future Islamist, Turkish state.”

Even more telling is a comment from Nurettin Veren, Gulen’s right hand man for 35 years who said: “These schools are like shop windows. Recruitment and Islamization are carried out through night classes.

Additionally, many of these students take 10-day summer trips to Turkey and you have to wonder where the heads of their parents are – even as to why they would place their child in an Islamic school. One teacher reported her class won a free cultural trip to Turkey through an art contest sponsored by a Gülen organization called the Atlantic Institute. They openly admit some of the founders and donors of the Institute are inspired by the values of the Hizmet Movement (Turkish for ‘service’) also called Gulen Movement.

Atlantic Institute tells you that the Hizmet Movement is a values-driven social movement and philosophy that advances interfaith dialogue, education and community service as tools to build a better and more harmonious society. The movement was inspired by the philosophy and teachings of Fethullah Gulen.

Teachers reported they were taken on a 10-day death march through Turkey and then after having been deprived of food the Gülenist’s hosts brought us to a building called the Journalist and Writer’s “light house” which was a compound. This is where we got the cult spiel for 2 hours. The speaker told us, ‘Fethullah Gülen, he is the imam that sheds light on the dark waters of our time,'” said the teacher.

“This trip was not about a moderate message of interfaith dialogue or Turkish culture. The whole purpose was to promote the imam Fethullah Gülen,” said the teacher.

The Gülen movement is a transnational religious and social movement led by Turkish Islamic scholar and preacher Fethullah Gülen. The movement has no official name but it is usually referred to as Hizmet (“the Service”) by its followers and as Cemaat (“the Community/Assembly”) by the broader public in Turkey.

Why do you suppose this is? Would it catch your eye if I tell you that the CIA was responsible for giving Gulen his hiding place from his own country? Under the excuse of “for health reasons”, truth be known Gulen’s health problem is diabetes and can be taken care of in almost any country.

Where is the U.S. State Department in all this?  Another case of the U.S. thinking they know who the leader of a country should be? Approval has to come through them for international education programs to be in this country. Is the State Department aware of what is happening or is this just part of more of the same with a dabble of corruption?

The Gülen movement’s ultimate goal is to open charter schools in the U.S., to funnel U.S. tax dollars back into the Gülen movement in Turkey. They skim just enough off the public taxpayers from these charter schools so it won’t look suspicious.”

Additionally, our government is providing opportunities to the Gulen movement because the US government has failed to deal with radical Islam. The US government is under the impression that the FGM is the answer for moderate Islam since Gulen pretends to promote dialog among the faiths.

This is a fatal mistake because in Islam, there is no dialog, there is no moderation. The Qur’an states and Muslims believe that every human being needs to convert to Islam sooner or later, otherwise, they all deserve to die. This is not a joke, nor a foolish statement. This is what all kids who receive Qur’an training before they reach the age of 12 believe.

As Gulen Schools slowly but surely move forward in their operations in the US, the main idea is to bring up more graduates of FGM who may in the future become the leaders of the US. Fethullah Gulen’s next school, The Harmony School of Political Science in Austin TX, being built is just a clue to prove my point.

Last year, FBI agents carried out raids to 19 Gulen Charter schools in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio as part of an “ongoing white-collar crime matter.”  The lack of transparency linked to these schools and the Gulen movement should be of major concern to all Americans especially those who have their children in these schools. Of major concern with all Gulen schools is the financial flow of taxpayer dollars and the lack of oversight and transparency.

The way they are using our taxpayer $$, the hierarchy, their pursuit of buying political influence leave enough reason in the minds of reasonable people that these Charter schools need to be closed down. Tax payers are actually being forced without their knowledge to support this Islamic movement within our own borders. Is there something more insidious going on here?

The use of the Islamic practice of taqiyya or “deception” to mask the true nature of the schools has been upheld by Gulen himself. In 1999 Turkish television aired footage of Fethullah Gülen delivering “sermons” which revealed his plan to implement Sharia in America:

  • You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this. If they do something prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 in Syria … like in the yearly disasters and tragedies in Egypt. The time is not yet right. You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey … Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside. The work to be done is in confronting the world. Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all—in confidence … trusting your loyalty and secrecy. I know that when you leave here—just as you discard your empty juice boxes, you must discard the thoughts and the feelings that I expressed here.”

THE LIFE OF AMENDMENT 8 – You Thought It Was Over!

I apologize to my readers for this article being about Florida. However, since that is where I live and where most of the corruption and plans to destroy our children’s future’s originates, I hope that by informing you of the measures our legislature is taking in ruining our children’s futures – you will also take a long hard look at your state to see if you are becoming a ‘copycat’!  Amendment 8 to FL SB 1552!

In 1999, Jeb Bush pushed through the legislature an “Opportunity Scholarship Program” that gave students in “failing” public schools state funding for tuition at religious and other private academies. Americans United for Separation of Church and State and other allied groups immediately challenged the voucher scheme in state court.  After years of legal wrangling, the Florida Supreme Court finally struck down the program in January 2006. The 5-2 court majority said vouchers violated a provision of the state constitution requiring a uniform system of free public schools.

Our new governor, Jeb Bush, stated vouchers will help parents rescue their children from chronically failing schools. If we have chronically failing schools, then the State of Florida and its legislators have failed to live up to what is expected by all Florida residents. A voucher allowing public money to be used in private schools defies the very definition of PRIVATE SCHOOLS. This money should be used to take all these failing and critically low-performing schools to a higher standard than we have today and get our legislators out of the BUSINESS of EDUCATION.

Jeb Bush reportedly was livid about the FL Supreme Court’s decision and vowed to press for a constitutional amendment, but he found it more difficult in the state legislature than expected. In May 2006, the proposed constitutional amendment fell short by one vote in the Republican-controlled Senate, despite a lot of hardball political pressure from the governor and his allies.

Bush then went for Plan B – after leaving office in Jan 07, he & his top advisers crafted a back-door maneuver to revise the state constitution and advance vouchers. They decided to stack the state’s 25 member Taxation and Budget Reform Commission  (TBRC) which meets every 20 years & has the power, by a two-thirds vote, to place initiatives directly on the ballot, bypassing the legislature and other governmental checks and balances.

Commission members were appointed by then governor Charlie Crist (Bush arranged with Crist to appoint Greg Turbeville, a former Bush policy director, the Senate president Ken Pruitt and the House speaker Marco Rubio who helped the scheme along by appointing Bush education adviser Patricia Levesque and other voucher fans). In all, “nine Bush-era acolytes with financial ties to voucher groups who stood to gain financially” were appointed to the Commission!

Once again the FL Supreme Court stepped in and prior to the 2008 election, they ruled that the TBRC had exceeded its narrow authority of dealing with issues related to taxation or the state budgetary process in proposing the two initiatives and removed them from the ballot.

In the Spring of 2010, the Florida Legislature considered two resolutions (amendments) which, if passed, would have placed a ballot initiative similar to the TRBC’s Amendment 7 on the ballot. The legislation failed to advance beyond the Rules Committee in both the Senate and House of Representatives.

Now we are back to the table again and in the Spring of 2011, the Florida Legislature approved a resolution to place Amendment 7 on the November 2012 ballot. Amendment 7, similar to the church-state related constitutional provisions considered by the TBRC and the Florida legislature, would strip the Florida Constitution of its long standing church-state separation provision. The Amendment was designed to eliminate religious freedom protections currently in place in Florida and open the back door to taxpayer funded vouchers for private and religious schools. The Amendment would eviscerate protections in place governing partnerships between the state and private or religiously affiliated organizations, (possibly even permitting taxpayer money to flow directly to houses of worship). The Amendment is the first step towards permitting private school vouchers.

In July of 2011, Florida parents and clergy, as well as representatives of school administrators, teachers, and school boards, filed a lawsuit in Leon Circuit Court seeking to remove Amendment 7 from the November 2012 general election ballot.

The lawsuit made two claims. First, the plaintiffs contended that the language that will appear on the 2012 ballot doesn’t accurately describe what the amendment, if adopted, will actually do. In short, they argued that the ballot language was misleading. Second, the plaintiffs argued that the process set in place by the legislature for fixing misleading ballot language violates the separation of powers. The current law would have allowed the Attorney General to rewrite Amendment 8 if the Court had found it to be defective. The Plaintiffs argued that the Attorney General (a member of the Executive Branch) lacks the power to rewrite the language, as only the legislature can approve ballot language.

Judge Terry P. Lewis of the Second Judicial Circuit of Leon County ruled that the language that was slated to appear on the actual ballot to explain Amendment 7 was misleading and ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to make the changes and hence, Amendment 7 came back as Amendment 8 in 2012. http://www.au.org/content/legal-challenge

But wait, vouchers have already been ruled as unconstitutional by the Florida Supreme Court stating they violated a provision of the state constitution requiring a uniform system of free public schools. However, Amendment 8 is focusing on vouchers to be used by PRIVATE and RELIGIOUS AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS!

Then in April 2014, the voucher hypocrisy of Jeb Bush supporter Florida legislators gave us vouchers despite the fact the voters in 2013 turned it down by a decisive margin and the FL Supreme Court had ruled it unconstitutional.

You see here in Florida it is not about the children, but “whatever Jeb Bush wants, Jeb Bush gets – sooner or later and by hook or by crook! Cons to this scam:

  • Private schools have little to no accountability requirements as to having certified teachers. Taxpayer funds should never be made available to private or parochial schools. (In the 2012 Voucher amendment, 2 of the 3 legislative writers of the amendment are Catholic).
  • The untruth passed through the halls of the legislature were that the parents wanted a push for STEM ((Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) when it originated within the Federal government. Teaching children science and history that is corrupt is not the way to equip them for the modern world unless the intention is indoctrination or you plan for them to be in the fields and factories anyway.
  • Programs for private schools are sometimes attractive to parents precisely because they are free of the innumerable unfunded mandates and endless testing inflicted on public schools. Parents are NOT checking with the private and parochial schools to see if they participated in the RTTT grant games and a good share of them did take money from the federal government which means CC.
  • And last but certainly not least, private school vouchers defy the Florida Constitution, which states that it is the state’s paramount duty to have a uniform system of high quality, free public schools. Corporate tax vouchers create a dual system that is profoundly unfair, dangerous and is intended not to benefit our children, but to fill the wallets of legislators and their corporate cronies along with filling another dream of Jeb Bush’s.

In a poll taken by Sunshine State News in April 2014 showed 55% of those participating were against vouchers, 42% supported and 2% were undecided. So again we must ask who is the FL legislature working for. With Andy Gardiner (R) now the head of the Fl Senate and a strong supporter of education privatization our children are in serious trouble.

One thing taxpayers must remember when it comes to education in Florida is that our system is set up that the governor in the end CHOOSES who will be our Commissioner of Education and APPOINTS the State School Board. Cronyism? Where else do you know that an APPOINTED state school board can overrule a district ELECTED school board?

Charters make up a disproportionate number of F-rated schools within the state and you never hear about all their failures and always with the excuse that they enroll students who have struggled in traditional schools and that they are in the low-income areas and were set up for failure from the start. I ask those parents if that is the right mentality to start a school with and is that what they are projecting to their students?

But then you have charters where they are earning A’s. In some cases, as with magnet schools, that’s the result of cherry-picking good students with motivated parents. Charter Management companies have even found ways to weed out the lower achieving students to help make their overall grade look better – yet it is the charter school which have all the unaccountability, uncertified teachers and in some cases uncertified schools themselves.

A warning to parents who are choosing the voucher approach to educate your child if they fall into the category of ‘English Language Learners’ (ELL). In the state of Florida there are laws in place that cover this in a ‘traditional public school’.

When your child goes to a school where vouchers are used for payments, all bets are off when it comes to these rules, and it’s because these schools are private and are not required to comply with state ESOL rules.

Another failure by our legislature is instead of insisting that students going to private schools with public money take the same standardized tests that public school kids take, the legislature would use public money to pay the Learning System Institute at Florida State University to do annual reports on the performance and learning gains of voucher students.  So they are going to use additional taxpayer money to ‘assess’ the performance of the children being school on the voucher system?

Now we are back to the Florida State Constitution which states ALL children must be treated the same! I do believe we have some laws suits floating around again!

So in essence children going to a private school by voucher do not have to take the FL standardized tests but a child with disabilities who are in alternate schools do. In case you aren’t aware, so are hundreds and hundreds of students who are classified as not liking school, truant, 1-2 years behind their peers, or just normally cannot pass a test.

(Yet the FL Statutes clearly states all testing is mandatory and Commissioner Stewart has stated there will be consequences for anyone not participating in the testing process. She however fails to tell parents what those consequences are).

These children are housed in traditional and charter school settings within normally un-used buildings all over the state never having to take another test, not show graduation rates, but we are paying for their bus transportation not only to school but to work. For you see these students are actually in ‘school-to-work’ schools – not technical schools just school where the most important agenda is them working in a McDonald’s, Burger King, car wash – not very often in an office and certainly not in training that would support them.

And most certainly do not call one of these school principals and ask any questions. Not only do they become rude and unaccountable, but in some cases will even tell you they don’t have to answer your questions and they send you to your district board to try and find out who is overseeing the program.

Now the current chapter in Florida’s charter/voucher corruption, the legislators are using the basic format of Amendment 8 from the 2012 election cycle and putting it in SB 1552.

With an ongoing Republican control in the Florida Senate and House, parents best start forming home school coalitions and tap into the ‘good’ teachers who have quit teaching because of Common Core and the antics in Tallahassee.

Parents it is impossible to make this stuff up and we must come together and stop this madness. I don’t care what your party affiliation is, your nationality, or your race – I care about the futures of our children.

Local School Boards Are Being Replaced, Stripped of Power Part 1

Dr. Shirley McCune, senior director of the federally funded Mid-Continent Regional Education Laboratory was involved in a planning workshop in Millard, Nebraska, July 21, 1983. She presented a plan for systematic change for our total society. One paper stated that we are moving from “party politics” to “policies of the radical center.” The radical right and the radical left appear to have met in mid-center on several issues: Goals 2000; School-to-Work; NAFTA and GATT.

The New American Schools Development Corporation’s radical design teams have been selected to “break the mold” away from basic-traditional education in order to train children for the global workforce. Privatizing education through Charter Schools allows these radical design teams, and other private entities such as The Edison Project, Educational Alternatives, Inc., and Disney World (Mickey Mouse Schools) to rob American citizens of their own tax-supported schools. This plan is being supported by both the right-wing and the left-wing political groups who appear to have met in the radical mid-center on education, social control and a global economy.

Dr. Shirley McCune appears with former Secretary of Education Lamar Alexander at the Kansas Governor’s Summit on Education in 1989. She made the following statement:

“…what we are into is a total restructuring of the society. What is happening in America today…is not simply a change4 situation and the usual winds of change. What it amounts to is a total transformation of our society…The whole ball game in this particular change society is that there are only two things that really matter. One of those is the information capital that we can put together…Secondly, to produce Human Capital…we have to prepare students not for today’s society, but for a society that’s 20, 30, 40, 50 years down the road…That’s called Social Change Function of schools.”

Lamar Alexander (now United States Senator from Tennessee) on “The New American School,” said at the Kansas Governor’s Education Summit:

Such a school would probably start with babies and go through the eighth grade. It would be all year-long. It would be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Every child would have his or her own computer and work-station. Every child would have a team of teachers that would stay with that child until graduation. These schools would ‘serve children from age three months old to age 18′ and they would serve as a ‘one-stop shopping’ center for welfare services ranging from family planning, health care, and other social services. Legislation should ‘assure that all women have access to affordable, high quality parental care and that all infants and children have access to affordable, high quality comprehensive health care'”.

The health care plan for children and families may be found in Beyond Rhetoric, “Final Report of the National Commission on Children” that was established by Public Law 100-203. This bipartisan body was composed of 34 members appointed by the President, the President pro tempore of the U. S. Senate, and the Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives. The Chairman was Hon. John D. Rockefeller IV and some of the other members were: Hon. Bill Clinton, Mary Hattwood Futrell (former President of NEA), and Hon. Bill Honing (former Commissioner of Education for California), and others active in restructuring education.

This Panel had several meetings and field activities around the country. Several of the participants are involved in NASDC’s radical design teams. One meeting titled “How Children Develop Values” list John H. Buchanan, Jr., Chairman, People for the American Way, and Phyllis Schlafly founder and President of Eagle Forum and others.

One meeting titled Building a Productive Labor Force, lists Marc S. Tucker, President, National Center on Education and the Economy. (Carnegie Foundation etc.). Tucker has been one of the strongest advocates for restructuring education. (Ed. Note: He still is, and his Letter to Hillary Clinton was placed in the Congressional Record, and is posted on the web).

Appendix F: Corporate Advisory Board Members lists several interesting people who have been actively involved in restructuring. Of particular interest are Steven J. Ross, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer, Time Warner, Inc., who through The Edison Project, intends to run public schools for profit. (Ed. Note: The Edison Project was under the direction of Chester Finn, Jr., who is involved with the Fordham Foundation, the think-tank for the right wing political groups).

The first plan for educational restructuring that I saw was a proposal by The National Council for Better Education-a project of National Conservative Foundation in 1983. This group proposed enterprise zones and defined the zones as a …”district independent of state and federal interference, regulations and control”. The Charter Schools bill in Arizona allows the Charter Schools to be legally autonomous if sponsored by the two state boards of education. With the U. S. Secretary of Education’s approval and other Federal Agencies, the schools are allowed to waive all Federal, State and Local laws, rules and regulations except …”civil rights, audit and student assessments, special education and insurance.” (Ed. Note: See Title 15 under Arizona Laws, posted on the web, under School Improvement Act).

The National Council for Better Education proposed that Chicago Mastery Learning be used as the method and that the children be trained according to whatever the market demands …”whether that be liberal arts, fine arts, or vocational education.” They further proposed that:

“Each zone will be funded from federal and state money given directly to the zone with no strings attached—sort of a mega-block grant)”.

Some Charter Schools legislation has limited restrictions for local and community input (the same as the Federal: Goals 2000), but Arizona’s law does not address this issue. The Morrison Institute that is on one of NASDC’s design teams states:

“Support needed from Teacher/Staff/Parents for School Conversion…not addressed in legislation”.

They do have to have the local schools boards’ approval to establish a Charter School on public school property, but the State is busy looking for empty rooms and buildings to fulfill this endeavor.

The second time I saw this proposal was by the Phoenix Futures Forum which later joined with the Urban League. Their paper is titled Strategies to Prepare Phoenix for the Year 2015, and is dated October, 1989.

The third time I saw this proposal was from the Arizona Business Leadership for Education (ABLE) that formed a committee in June, 1990. Their proposal was titled Better Schools for Arizona.

The next proposal was done by the Governor’s Task Force on Educational Reform which convened in May, 1991.

The American 2000 proposal was supposed to have been developed when President Bush and the Governors met in Charlottesville, Virginia, September, 1989. After William Clinton became President the title was changed to Goals 2000. (Ed. Note: President George W Bush called it No Child Left Behind and President Obama calls his version Race to the Top most probably changed to make opposition think that the “thing” had gone away. This is what has happened with the method of “Mastery Learning” noted before; it changed to Direct Instruction, Outcome Based Education, Performance Based Education and now Core Standards etc., etc.).

This proposal may also be found in literature published by the United Nations. The World Conference on Education for All was held in Jomtien, Thailand, March 5-9, 1990.

On October 30 – November 1, 1991, in Alexandria, VA. The United States Coalition for Education for All met. The title for this meeting was Learning for All: Bridging Domestic and International Education. The purpose follows:

“The U. S. Coalition for Education for All is part of a 156-nation network working to reform education worldwide.

Barbara Bush was the Honorary Chair of this meeting and the Keynote Speakers were David Kearns—Deputy Secretary, U. S. Department of Education (former CEO Xerox Corporation and, Xerox is mentioned in one of the design teams); Al Shanker, President, American Federation of Teachers; Elena Lenskaya, Deputy Minister of Education, Republic of Russia; James Grant, Executive Director, UNICEF. This is a one-world plan. Every citizen will be tracked for conformity.

The National Center for Education Statistics has a computer tracking system for public, home school, and private schools which tracks every family in the United States. While it gives lip-service to the Privacy Act of 1974, the exemptions are so broad almost anyone can access the records. (See related article). It is easy to track the resistors in a community with this instant retrieval system. (Ed. Note: A Student Data Handbook: Elementary, Secondary and Early Childhood Education, was published July, 1994, U. S. Department of Education; Office of Educational Research and Improvement, NSCES 94-303 also see the SpeedeExpress that has over 400 identifiers including birthmarks, eye color, baptismal name, nickname, etc. etc. etc.)

The National Educational Goals Panel, an appointed political group, formed to track compliance to Goals 2000 and the School-to-Work program (i. e. report-cards) issued a Community Action Kit telling the proponents exactly how to manipulate and brainwash the citizens into compliance. While most of the “free-press” continues to propagandize and mislead the people about the intent of restructuring, a great newspaper reporter, Robert Holland with Richmond Times Dispatch continues to expose this one-world travesty to his readers. He sent Secretary of Education, Richard Riley a memo regarding the Community Action Kit.

Holland quoted the kit as saying: “Only by changing the attitudes and behavior of community members will it be possible to reach the National Education Goals.”….isn’t such a government directed propaganda campaign unprecedented in America’s history?” Mr. Holland quotes some of the topics in the kit which tells how to identify “Allies and Opponents: avoid the term Outcome-Based Education; Choosing a Facilitator” all designed to lead to group-think or conformity. (Ed. Note: The tool used is known as the Delphi technique; the facilitator insures everyone in the group that a consensus has been reached, and none dare question the “group”. The opposition is silenced, if there is any, through lies, smears, labeled conspiracy kooks and you name it. I always advise citizens to never join a group with a facilitator. Several years ago, I attended an Arizona Senate Education hearing, and my district Senator chaired the meeting and in his opening statement said: “We are here to reach a consensus.” I sat in the front row and taped the hearing, and he said to me: “Ann, you are not taping this are you?” and I replied: “Yes, and taking good notes in case my battery runs out”.

I was a precinct captain in our district and helped to get this man elected. Since when in a democratic society, do people have to reach a consensus? So, tape their hearing if you can get in; many appointed groups are closed to the public or the legislators shift the hearing around until one is unable to follow the time and place. Another old trick is to change or postpone the hearing at the last minute, or never call the opposition to testify, even if one signs up. In Arizona the Legislators have devised a sneaky way of slipping an opposed bill under the door. They “strike-all” from a worthless bill, and then attached the opposed legislation to it. Representative government and dishonesty becomes questionable under such tactics).

Apparently the United States views the citizens as tools to be manipulated in order to implement the prearranged United Nations plan. Included in a packet of materials I received from a concerned citizen was a statement from Minnesota to Mr. Holland. It reads:

“I am appalled that my government is running propaganda campaigns among the citizenry reminiscent of Chairman Mao’s many political campaigns in Communist China.”

This comes as no surprise to the author who has been researching and following educational restructuring for twenty-five years. The Education for All “Today”, Issue 2, Jan. – March, 1993 in its Innovation Corner is titled “Overcoming Resistance and Facilitating Change: The NTL Institute’s Approach.”

The National Training Laboratory Institute (NTL) was affiliated with the National Education Association (NEA) from 1947 to 1967. The purpose is stated in this newsletter as follows:

“Dedicated to developing and applying scientific methods to behavior modification, the Institute facilitates productive change at the individual, social, organizational and macro-system levels.”

The Institute has facilitated change with all elements of society throughout the world: clergy, business, labor, legislators, Governors, Congress, school administrators and teachers etc. Apparently, they have been successful with the masses. Only a few resistors remain, especially since the “conservative right-wing” political and religious leaders have convinced their membership that Choice and Charter Schools will eliminate NEA and government control of schools. This is a lie! One only has to read the Federal and States Educational Restructuring Plans for confirmation of this fact. Private and public schools including home schools will be chartered and controlled with government money. (Ed. Note: Vouchers are the carrot and stick being used for naïve private, religious and home schools across the USA. The citizens public schools are being taken over by private groups, foundations, foreign persons, and are being are run for profit one way or another, either through management companies, computer companies or nepotism).

Local school boards are being replaced or stripped of power. Representative government is becoming obsolete. Appointed councils now are taking the place of elected representatives in all endeavors across the USA. “No Child Will Be Left Behind”. All children are to be trained for the global one-world planned workforce using the scientific method of behavioral psychology now attached to computer software. Citizen owned property is now being sold and some leased back. The current governor sold our State Capitol, House and Senate buildings to a private group. Unless we pay off the loan in twenty years, the private investment company will own the citizens property. We are now leasing this property back that was completely debt free. I could find nothing in our Constitution that allows this. The same people are working hard to privatize public schools).

The radical right and the radical left have met in mid-center on restructuring education along with NAFTA, The Crime Bill, and last but not least we can expect to see the finalization of the plan through GATT (World Trade Organization). Who are they? (Now in place).

A meeting was held at Arizona State University, Saturday, October 22, 1994 and a “Charter School Chronicle Resource List” was handed out to the participants. This paper lists both right-wing and left-wing political groups who are supporting Charter School. For example: the American Federation of Teachers (AFT); The National Education Association (NEA); Education Commission of the States (the ECS formed Regional Government and placed each state in a Federal Educational Laboratory); The Heritage Foundation: National Association of Charter Schools, Inc.; The Morrison Institute (on NASDC Design teams); Office of Senator Dave Durenberger; National Council of State Legislatures; Hudson Institute (NASDC’s Modern Red Schoolhouse with William Bennett (former Secretary of USDOE); Chester Finn, Jr. who is with the Edison Project and runs Charter schools for profit…now with the Fordham Institute who cranks out propaganda in support of privatizing public education ( Finn was formerly with USDOE); National Governors’ Association and others. (Ed. Note: Now the privateers, computer companies and vested interest hope to fire competent teachers and replace them with unproven computer software. This will be done through performance-based evaluations tied to student outcomes that have been manipulated for years to serve the vested interest of a few. The leadership of the two major teacher unions AFT and NEA has sold out to the enemies of the teachers and our most precious heritage, our children. While the leadership gives lip service to the hard-working teachers, taking their money through dues, our good, highest qualified teachers are being fired or put in holding-rooms and replaced with Teach For America non-qualified teachers – one can assume to plug the children into the computer). During her teaching career, Ann taught all grade levels, (K-College in reading) as well as all ability level students including gifted, and non-English speaking. In 1982, she was the Republican candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction for Arizona; ran again in 1986, the primary purpose was to expose the experimental programs being used on teachers and children, especially ECRI (Exemplary Center for Reading Instruction) and others. She pushed for a Congressional investigation on ECRI and other programs, but it never happened. People contacted her regarding ECRI and the harmful effects on children who were having difficult problems due to the stress from ECRI. All of this went to Congress and the DOE. The DOE lied about the method and denied that children were timed with stopwatches even after Ann sent them documented pod materials from their manuals. A large effort has been made to cover up ECRI and other similar programs destroying our children.

Ann’s education research articles have been published in the Wisconsin Report, Charlotte Iserbyt’s books; The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, and Back to Basics Reform, the Barbara Morris Report, and countless newspapers and magazines. She also contributed data to Rev. James Patrick’s “Research Manual, America 2000/Goals 2000 – Moving the Nation Educationally to a ‘New World Order’.”

At the request of concerned parents, Ann spoke in several states against America and Goals 2000 and helped organize the Southwestern USA to work against the Soviet/Carnegie/American agreement… through the “National Citizen’s Alliance.” She is a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution with eight proven Revolutionary Patriots, one of whom served at Valley Forge with Gen. Geo. Washington. Ann continues to do research exposing the destruction of our once excellent academic education.
