Arizona Parents Victory Over Voucher Expansion – Your State Can Do It Too!

Save Our Schools Arizona has put on a long fight against Vouchers and the Expansion of Vouchers in their state. The Arizona Supreme court has ruled in the favor of the lower court’s decision to dismiss the lawsuit challenging their right for Proposition 305 to be placed on the November ballot which is against the expansion of the state’s school voucher-style system.

Save Our Schools Arizona presented Proposition 305 which is a citizen’s referendum on the Legislator’s controversial attempt to expand Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program. Proposition 305 upholds the citizen’s right to vote NO against the voucher expansion that is draining taxpayer dollars from public education.

Gov. Doug Ducey signed Arizona Senate Bill 1431 in April, extending eligibility for school vouchers to all Arizona students if they take an annual standardized test. It does sound a little like blackmail since so many parents have been opting out of the “standardized” tests.

Save Our Schools set out to kill that bill.

Keep in mind there is nothing standard about our children. They are like Butterflies – beautiful but each different in their own way. They all learn at different paces – they are unique and wonderous each in their own way.

Why would we want our children to all be alike unless our goal was to have our children brain dead, robots without emotion or reason?

For most of us, the most important thing in this world is our children. We do everything we can to protect them from danger, keep them well and are willing to work at destroying anything and everything out to cause them harm in any way.

Millions of American parents now realize there are many of our elected legislators both in their State and Federal government who claim they are passing legislation that is good for our children, but we parents know better.

I want to acknowledge I understand parents have been busy working, playing, parenting, dealing with aging parents, their own health issues – this very thing has been around Robin forever. However, what you didn’t have time to pay attention to was the “deliberate dumbing down” of all of us since the beginning of the 20th Century.

Many of these individual’s names appear and re-appear time after time on bills to continue down the path to destroying our children and to be put under the CONTROL of the FEDERAL government advancing to the New World Order (NWO).

Paul Ryan’s name suddenly appearing as the author of an education bill is unusual. The fact it was about “data-mining” is not as Paul Ryan is one of many who cannot be trusted and that was shown by how he handles the passage of his very own bill last week in the House. LINK LINK

We also have non-elected corporate individuals who believe their money can buy them anything they want and that is for the most part true. Now he is prepared to invest another almost $20M to make sure that data-mining is carried to the end degree.

When you mention Bill and Melinda Gates names in some circles reporting they are not the “good guys” they want you to think they are, people respond with “Well look at all the money they give away!” Have you ever looked at all the things they have used their money for? Who the recipients were?

Gates financial input into the push for Common Core is public knowledge. One must ask why he is such a staunch supporter of this inferior form of education for the masses of the children while his own children and grandchildren (and those like him) are attending schools which DO NOT use Common Core.

I can answer that because Gates 2 children have attended Lakeside School in Seattle which is a “private” school for Middle and High School grades. Disturbing to me is the 5th grade is focused on global themes such as change, interdependence, diversity, human migration, human rights, quality of life, and sustainability to explore the history of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest Grade 6 Eurasia and a touch of Aldous Huxley, (poet) who wrote about despair, poverty, violence and alcoholism who was also a Humanist.

The truth is, the children of the elite are to remain the “elite” overseeing us lowly peons who are to make up the “workforce” along with those in public schools being taught Global Warming is the truth.

What is the point of placing your children in Charter schools when they are still teaching Common Core? Placing your child in a private school with a voucher gains you nothing because a voucher requires your tax $$ to cover your child’s education and the whole set-up is an oxymoron since once a private school takes one red penny from the federal government they are now under federal government regulations.

They may not get your tax dollars directly, but with all the tax credits going to the corporations funding vouchers, it breaks down your state tax base and it gives even more control to the corporations through those we elect.

Our youth have been so flooded with messages of immorality aligned to the Communist Manifesto that our country is now set up for anything goes. The schools and news media are bombarding our children with lies (they admit they are lies) about “global warming” and festering their minds with how great it will be with a New World Order in place.

HitlerOur children are being indoctrinated in school with messages which separate them from their parents and the family structure with phrases like “out with the old and in with the new”. Even some far-right religious sects are following the same theme preaching the bible out of context telling our children and adults “their” version of the Bible should be the “new” enlightenment for the future of the WORLD. Keep in mind when being preached to that, if it is “new” it is “wrong” and if it is “old” it is “right”.

Any takeover of any nation must and has begun with the entrapment of the children by propagandizing them into a nation of new goals with leaders who are selfish and evil. In America, this has been done by the embedded lie that we “must” send our children to school 5 days a week for 6-7 hours for 13 years of their life (now to include Pre-K) to be trained by strangers who in some cases have been trained to turn your children into non-thinking robots.

But be aware, there are NEW youth programs cropping up around the country with the direct purpose of undermining your parental authority. These Hitler type movement’s springing up are spreading the message that conformity is a good and individual expression of liberty is undesirable. In other words “group” think is right – belief and support of the Constitution is wrong since it is outdated and outmoded (thank you Mark Levin).

John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute commented on the brainwashing of our American youth:  “How do you persuade a nation of relatively freedom-loving individuals to march in lockstep with a police state? Among other things you indoctrinate the young people to your way of thinking, relying primarily on the public schools and popular culture’ to get the job done.

Obama told us he was going to create a civilian military force which of course is to be aligned and beholden to him. What do you believe this is going to give us?

Look at this way! What do you suppose the mental development and thought process of a 16-18 year old is when you make them a part of the Dept. of Homeland Security’s “first responder’s” especially when you know Obama has been increasing FEMA’s ammunition and heavily-armed fighting vehicles and you are putting guns into the hands of these 16-18-year-olds. Do you believe these children will think before firing when they have been told they are working under a “population control” agenda?

Is this, in fact, a Youth Army? DHS will tell you NO but the leaking stories give us different facts! An illegal migrant refugee camp at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas has a security force referring to themselves as “Brown Shirts” being used as the security forces over the workers, not the refugees. Why over the workers? Because BCFS, a part of the Dept. of Health and Human Services, doesn’t want the American people to know about the diseases accompanying these refugees. Global Citizens NitesBill and Melinda Gates have initiated an offshoot of Agenda 21 programs known as Global Citizen Nights and is also supported by Forbes, Global citizen nights are designed to lure in youth and young adults and have them engage in some kind of global service with regard to the UN agenda’s such as water sanitation, Ebola, youth protection and health. In exchange for their good deeds, the participating teens earn points and they are able to exchange their “globalist points” for high valued items such as concert tickets. Personal servitude to society sends the message to the young that your life does not belong to you. Charity towards one’s own community should be borne out of a desire to help or heel in the name of some cause that has personal appeal to a young person. Mandatory compliance to these “volunteer program’s” conditions youth that their lives do not belong to them and that the state has the final authority of one’s actions.  A “mandatory volunteer program” is just another oxymoron – the two just do not fit.

Why do you believe Sen. Lamar Alexander, Joel Klein, Chester Finn, Marc Tucker, Hillary Clinton, Linda Darling-Hammond and others are such strong supporters of so much government control rather than parental control over the raising of our children?

When one joins this globalist propaganda program, they are told that “Bill Gates recognizes that individuals have diverse passions and offers the Global Citizen network as one where, ‘some people will pick women’s reproductive rights, some will pick agriculture and then there are NGOs in each of those areas that you can volunteer for, give money to, and feel connected.”

Once again, I want to remind the reader’s, America has and is pouring BILLIONS of dollars into the United Nations every year for programs such as these very programs listed for the children to “volunteer” their services for “credits”.

Is it the fault of the American people that after 60+ years the countries the UN was supposed to help are still just as sick and poor? What have they done with all that money? Where are the audits? Where is the accountability from an agency which is being used to turn our world into their idea of a world – a New World Order?

Are you aware the only reason for the creation of the United Nations was to become the head governmental agency of a New World Order? Too bad our government and these corporations are not as interested in our homeless and hungry including our veterans.

To give a “positive” note, the Global Citizen Nights are intended to replace the drug-infested raves. However, rather than destroying their bodies with drugs such as ecstasy, the youth are destroying their minds with globalist propaganda.  One of the central themes of the Global Citizen Nights is the deliberate denigration of national sovereignty (e.g. “sovereignty is so 20th century) and the adoption of the globalist agenda at an age when young people’s minds are prone to extremist thinking. Hence the huge following of our college students for Bernie Sanders!

Forbes is one of the biggest supporters of this movement. Never forget that it is the “elite” of the world that want us “average, low-life” to be the workers of the world, supporting them while we have nothing. Indoctrinating our children to believe the GLOBAL WAY is the right way which is teaching our children they should have no appreciation or allegiance to include their values and morals which created this great country. Their vision is for our children to be GLOBAL!

Even Michael Farris, the over Lord of the Home School Legal Defense Fund and supporter of the Convention of States wants to place an amendment to the Constitution regarding “parental rights” – offering parental rights come from “man or government” rather than God.

1948 – Canadian psychiatrist and World War II General Brock Chisholm, M.D. head of the World Health Organization (WHO), promoted the behavior modification processes now mandated through Bill Clinton’s Goals 2000 leading to the current Common Core Standards, ESSA and Charter/Choice/Vouchers. Booklet V, on page 9, advises the teacher that:  The kindergarten or infant school has a significant part to play in the child’s education. Not only can it correct many of the errors of home training, but it can also prepare the child for membership in the world society.”

 PARENTS – This is exactly what the current Common Core is intended to do and now with the endorsement of the ESSA, there is no path to saving our children other than taking them out of Public Schools and Homeschooling!

1974 – Alvin Toffler (Newt Gingrich’s mentor) along with Willard Wirtz and other futurists wrote a report issued to the Institute for Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) (those wonderful Commissioners of Education who forced Common Core on our children 30+ years later) titled “Man, Education, and Society in the Year 2000”. Other CSSO participants were George H. W. Bush, James Baker and Edmund de Rothschild.

November 17, 2004 – And YOU want to believe Bill Gates is this great guy because he gives all this money away.  Believe me – his money is spent for the intention to indoctrinate our children or support eugenics. At UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, UNESCO signed a 26-page ‘Cooperation Agreement’ with Microsoft Corporation to develop a ‘master curriculum (Syllabus)’ for teacher training in information technologies based on [global] standards, guidelines, benchmarks, and assessment techniques. The Agreement states that the Syllabus will ‘form the basis for deriving training content to be delivered to teachers,’ and ‘UNESCO will explore how to facilitate content development.”

In other words, that “Cooperation Agreement” calls for a world-wide system of global standards. Its manipulative techniques were designed to conform humaUN Education Octapusn resources to the demands of the rising totalitarian world government. No matter what we call it, it is manipulative education standards — “Common Core,” “Outcome Based Education” or “No Child Left Behind” — the schools of the future would be pressed into the socialist shape of UNESCO and the NEA. Remember, the NEA shares UNESCO’s goals. No wonder, since NEA elites helped launch UNESCO! Back in 1946, it celebrated the formation of UNESCO as “the culmination of a movement for the creation of an international agency of education.” What the NEA planned in secret has become today’s reality. The NEA Journal proudly announced their new rules:  “…each member nation… has a duty to see to it that nothing in its curriculum . . . is contrary to UNESCO‘s aims.”

Like the NEA, UNESCO promotes abortion, disarmament and world government. It has a great deal in common with Agenda 21 (and Bill Gates) the radical framework for a totalitarian globalism under the banner of “Saving the Earth” and shrinking the world population. MR. PRESIDENT – WHAT DID YOU AGREE TO AT THE G20?

G20 Globalization Thru the World’s Education!

Anything and I mean anything, that has any link or association thru the United Nations is not only New World Oder/One World Government, it can be considered evil. The fact they continually want to use our children for their devious, dark schemes makes those willing to participate as devious and dark.

This past February 2017, so-called senior leaders of the United Nations gathered to further plot the future of our children’s “planned and manipulated” globalized education. Top UN leaders in speaking at this summit for “youth”, all demanded that children worldwide be indoctrinated and conscripted to help impose the UN’s extreme vision of humanity.

For you see “education threatens sustainability” and to the globalist’s, education is the main threat to sustainability and sustainability is the “gut and scam” of the New World Order.

According to the United Nations mindset of which is supported by Marc Tucker’s letter to Hillary Clinton and remarks made by many other globalists, the plan for some time was to use our children and their education to “Dumb Down America”.

These UN leaders claim this “globalized education” must be imposed on every child on the planet to advance the UN’s radical plan for humanity known as “Agenda 2030.” Speakers at the so-called “High-Level Event on Education,” including Muslims and communists, all agreed that UN-led “education” was the key to realizing their globalist goals.

#3 of Agenda 2030 states, ” We resolve, between now and 2030, to end poverty and hunger everywhere; to combat inequalities within and among countries; to build peaceful, just and inclusive societies; to protect human rights and promote- gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls; and to ensure the lasting protection of the planet and its natural resources. We resolve also to create conditions for sustainable, inclusive and sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and decent work for all, taking into account different levels of national development and capacities.”

Given this is one of the main reasons the UN was created in the first place and given the very same countries are still living in poverty, hunger, and inequalities – what has the UN been doing with the billions of dollars the United States has been giving them over the past 70 years?

#4 states, “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all – and this sounds really great and being as what I see as one of the easiest goals for the UN to have completed over the past 70 years.”

Even though the U.S. Senate has not ratified all this, what goal 4 is really calling for in detail is that all children learn not to just accept and submit to “sustainable development,” but to “promote sustainable development.” This whole agenda has been pushed in our schools and libraries for years now. This is the most important of the 17 goals. How do I know this???

Because the day before the G20 started, there was another gathering regarding education, specifically addressing Goal #4 – “Achieving Sustainable Development Goal”. The event itself was titled, “Global Education Before the G20 Summit” – July 6, 2017. This statement is in their summary – “Education is central to the development and to the achievement of all of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

Within this document, it also clearly states “UN/UNESCO Education Commission estimates expenditure on Education needs to rise from $1.2 TRILLION to $3 TRILLION per year until 2030.  Link

#7 states, ” In these Goals and targets, we are setting out a supremely ambitious and transformational vision. We envisage a world free of poverty, hunger, disease and a world where all life can thrive. We envisage a world free of fear and violence. A world with universal literacy. A world with equitable and universal access to quality education at all levels, to health care and social protection, where physical, mental and social well-being are assured. A world where we reaffirm our commitments regarding the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation and where there is improved hygiene; and where food is sufficient, safe, affordable and nutritious. A world where human habitats are safe, resilient and sustainable and where there is universal access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy.

Yet, they have had 70 years in cooperation to carry off these goals and targets and have succeeded in NOTHING but turmoil, hate and discontent mostly on the financial aid of the U.S.

The Sustainable Development Goals or SDG’s is really nothing more than a pre-planned recipe for global government and socialism using the United Nations view and vision of “education for all” to be at the very core and heart of the whole thing.

Our children according to the UN are described as “critical agents of change” whose “infinite capacities for activism” will be weaponized and channeled by the UN’s plans (schemes) into advancing their global vision of the future.

But this is where they get the world and fool those of us who must depend on the scraps of information we receive on the schemes and lies being used regarding “sustainable development”.

The whole scheme, especially the part in relation to education, is being justified to leaders and parents under the guise of supporting sustainable development, but in truth, the UN has already made it very clear that the children being given MORE education are a THREAT to sustainability.

You see Mom and Dad, their rationale is that the more highly educated a person becomes, they have higher incomes, with more money to spend, increasing the number of resources they use over the uneducated people (United State/Great Britain v. Laos/Cambodia). So, to maintain what they believe sustainable development to be, education of the world MUST be kept to a minimum and under the control of the UN/UNESCO.

Watching those behind this worldwide scheme being backed by the establishment globalists, communists, and other tyrants for planetary economic controls, population reduction, global governance, pseudo-environmentalism, wealth redistribution, and technocratic rule, we must remember it is those like Bill Gates, Bill Ayers, Al Gore, George Soros and sons, Prince Charles and others like them who have the multiple mansion homes using multi-billion kilowatts of electricity and airplanes polluting the air, who are certainly not as green as they would like you to think.

No, I am not against someone being a billionaire – I am against their using their wealth and fortune to destroy our world and the futures of our children. No, their plans never include their children as they have had their own private educations and will follow in their father’s agendas.

So, where are we? This past June 2017, education leaders from around the world joined together at the United Nations to discuss ways to advance action on Sustainable Development Goal 4 specifically, which aims to “ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.”

“Inclusive, equitable and quality education goes to the heart of the 2030 Agenda as a key enabler of sustainable development,” said Peter Thomson, President of the General Assembly, in his opening remarks at the High-level SDG Action Event on Education.

Mr. Thomson pointed out that education taps the Earth’s greatest asset, namely the inherent potential of the world’s people.

“Access to quality education is not only a goal in itself, but a fundamental building block to creating a better world of sustainable peace, prosperity, and development,” he underscored.

He went on to explain that education holds the key to fueling sustainable growth, building social cohesion and stability, and promoting human rights and equality – calling it “the golden thread that runs through all 17 SDGs.”

G20 2017So, America what really happened at the G20? I can tell you and it’s not pretty. Made up of 20 governments and dictators, they supposedly all agreed to a document supporting various globalist schemes. Taking what they considered a vacation from discussing the NWO, they turned their attention to “global education shaping the interconnected world”.

At the top of the list was a request for an additional $3.1 billion to ensure all children of the world are being offered an education since UNESCO claims there are over 130 million children who are uneducated. What they are talking about is not “real” education, but “sustainable education”. There is a real difference.

At the front of this mess is the Global Partnership for Education which is a globalist front group which has been working to bring this globalist indoctrination to all the children of the world under the guise of “education”. Yes, U.S. taxpayers are funding this also through the UN.

This group is looking for $39 billion to see that all children are educated by their 2030 goal. They are also pushing the idea that educating girls has a “multiplier” effect since educated women are “healthier, have fewer children, and earn more income.

American parents need to know that the pampered education agency of the UN, “UNESCO” is being run by the Bulgarian Communist Irina Bokova, and among UNESCO’s long-term partners are UNICEF and the World Bank. Danger!

What we all were not aware of at the time was in June 2016, there was a UN summit held in Korea where they “adopted a global action plan demanding a planetary “education” regime to transform children around the world into social-justice warriors and sustainability-minded “global citizens”.

The controversial action plan, approved by the UN’s propaganda department and a group of largely government-funded “non-governmental organizations” (NGOs) at the June 2016 event, was aimed at helping the UN impose its Agenda 2030 scheme to “transform the world.” In fact, the title of the summit gave away the agenda: “Education for Global Citizenship: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Together.” Link

The global “Education Commission,” chaired by former U.K. Prime Minister and longtime “New World Order” pusher Gordon Brown and guided by various UN agencies and socialist and Islamist regimes, was also pleased with the G20 emphasis on “education.”

The UN/UNESCO globalists speak in double-speak giving 2 sided messages as in claiming our children need to be educated for the purpose of being healthy and living longer, yet their population control agenda is also very high on the ladder of achievements.

Instead of thinking they are so much smarter than we are, they need to just come right out and clearly state their intentions – they are either proud of them or afraid we are smarter than they are!

UNESCO is “warning” aid for education has been falling for the last 6 years – I wonder if these are the same nations not pulling their weight regarding NATO.

UN/UNESCO are always calling for more money, but give NO accounting as to where all the billions they have received over the last 70 years has been spent and why the poor that were poor and uneducated 70 years ago, still are!

UNESCO’s new agenda is “early learning” of which we here in the U.S. have already started, keeping in mind early learning is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s what they are being taught, who is teaching it and who is paying for it that is causing the problems for the world.

Truth is, the United Nations “Agenda 2030,” also known as the Sustainable Development Goals, centers on globalized indoctrination and a deliberate dumbing down of humanity. It is being done under the guise of “education,” but Agenda 2030 and other UN documents make the true nature of the program crystal clear. Do your research America – it is out there. I found it!

I remind my readers an article I wrote and published on Nov 9, 2015 on News with Views stated Christiana Figueres, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), warned that the fight against climate change is a process and that the sought-after transformation of the world economy will not be decided at one conference or in one agreement.

Figueres expressed that UNFCCC has a goal of environmental activists NOT to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. She went on to state, “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”

This arrogant, power-hungry woman needs to be reminded the only economic model in the last 150 years that has ever worked at all is capitalism. Mathematics – The New Social Justice!

Sorry, I haven’t posted here in a couple of months – Fall is such an interesting and driving time. Family in my house always comes first and we have had our share of “family affairs” since August, but all is good. Better than in our schools which have slid off the mountain tops into “social justice” so far I am afraid we will never find our way out.

I started posting about how they are using the different subjects taught t our children to push social justice and now the big one is in how they are manipulating Math to address the subject.

Learning by the Bible to do good, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause and help your fellow man is NOT Social Justice, but being a decent Human Being!

Unless we as a whole stand up and say, “NO MORE – GET YOUR HANDS AND IDEAS AWAY FROM OUR CHILDREN AND JUST TEACH THEM” – nothing is going to change. It isn’t going to change because they don’t care about our kids – and theirs go to private schools.

Since most of our legislators have discovered a way to make a lot of money from owning Charter schools and aligning up with multi corporations, I wonder how much they are going to make endorsing and passing legislation regarding vouchers.

I first started researching education when Obama’s take-over ideas began to leak out even before he was elected. Make note parents, George H. Bush was no friend of our children any more than Bill Clinton, the other snake Bushes, Bill Ayers, Lamar Alexander, Rothschilds, Rockefeller’s and the Soros clan.

All of you parents whose children are in the IB Program – are you aware that is a UN/UNESCO curriculum that is Marxist/socialist and in a very subtle way, and costs your schools millions in the long run and the worst of all, it is proprietary and must be accepted for what it teaches – nothing can be changed and textbooks come from them. It does not have to conform to our education curriculum.

One of the first things that really rocked me was in how our children were to learn math and the fact that it didn’t matter if the answers were correct or not, but how they had obtained their answers. So, what I had heard was true, 2+2 = 4 was not the only answer a person could have for this equation; 1+2 could equal 4, 5+4 could equal 4 – it was all ok, just the way you worked the problems and came to your answer was important.

ReThinking MathematicsThis seemed stupid to me so I went researching. The first book I found was “Rethinking Mathematics” by Eric Gutstein, a professor of Mathematics at the Univ. of Illinois in Chicago.

I wasn’t surprised as to where he came from having already researched the damage Arnie Duncan had done to the Chicago schools before Obama was elected.

This book uses Gutstein’s interpretation of social injustices mostly in America and enjoins that to Mathematical Q & A. It reads almost as if he had taken the writings from within the Earth Charter and converted it to Math.

“In this new expanded and updated edition of Rethinking Mathematics, more than 50 articles show how to weave social justice issues throughout the mathematics curriculum, as well as how to integrate mathematics into other curricular areas.”

Rethinking Mathematics” offers teaching ideas, lesson plans, and reflections by practitioners and mathematics educators. This is real-world math – math that helps students analyze social problems as they gain essential academic skills.”

“This book offers hope and guidance for teachers to enliven and strengthen their math teaching. It will deepen students understanding of society and help prepare them to be critical, active participants in a democracy. Blending theory and practice, this is the only resource of its kind.”  (Thank God).

Teaching Mathematics for Social JusticeUnfortunately, it is NOT the only one of its kind. Take “Teaching Mathematics for Social Justice” by David Stinson. The author says “Educators increasingly recognize the important role that mathematics teaching plays in helping students to understand and overcome social injustice and inequality. This collection of original articles is the start of a compelling conversation among some of the leading figures in critical and social justice mathematics, a number of teachers and educators who have been inspired by them and who have inspiring stories of their own to tell and any reader interested in the intersection of education and social justice. An important read for every educator, this book shows how to teach mathematics so that all students are given the tools they need to confront issues of social justice today and in the future.”

This is another wake-up call as to who is teaching your kids. The educators can know all about our families, but we aren’t supposed to know anything about the person that spends the most time with our children.

Something is very wrong with this picture! Especially since the really good teachers have left teaching and have been replaced by Teach for America teachers who in most cases graduated NOT having a degree in Education and non-certified teachers are being allowed to teach. Check with your local school boards on certification laws.

Both books imply we have been racist in the teaching of math. Since when did one half of the classroom learn from one Math book and the other half a different book?

The spoken and unspoken belief about black students is tied to broader perceptions about black people. So, let’s just say it: Some believe the gap is a function of weak family and community structures, male joblessness, drug use, and permissive cultural values—which they assert predominate in the black community.

What is your “social rational” for the white boys out on the streets selling the dope, beating up women, and causing riots?

Others believe that blacks constitute a community that is largely beyond intervention and that no amount of funding or special programs can fix what ails the perpetually troubled. If this is true liberal democrats, then why is it every education bill you pass is directed at low-income areas?

Is it because the whitey’s that think so much of themselves continually try to drum this nonsense into the black children of this country. You continually tell them they will never amount to anything, don’t even try to get into college and the good one – you will never get a job of any meaning to be able to support a family.

Then these evil men and women like to say that any black child who has asserted themselves to be able to go to college then what they have done is outsmart the stereotype which has been set up and they refer to them as “outliers” – something or someone that lies outside the main body or group that it is a part of, as a cow far from the rest of the herd, or maybe a black or Hispanic child saying, “you are all are wrong, I will succeed”.

These erroneous and insulting beliefs persist out there because they are repeated by a constant recitation of negative statistics about blacks and now also Hispanics in the research literature and unrelenting circulated news accounts. Such wrong and deceitful assertions negate accurate and meaningful portrayals of black and Hispanic people. Mostly, they are misdirecting education and social policy and have skewed funding priorities in education by their constant legislation aimed at “low-income” families.

Regrettably, Americans have been socialized by the scholarly and journalism communities to accept at face value negative data and false information about blacks and been trained to also believe their colored students will “never make anything of themselves”.

Now the new thing is to be sure that middle and high school teachers learn how to incorporate social justice items such as racism and chosen privilege into their classrooms. Who is making the decisions as to what is to be considered “social justice”?

To what end? Here again, they have chosen a “subject” to cause “race baiting” causing hate and discontent.

Many of us who are researching and complaining about how education has been “handled” for the past 10 years (it has been longer but has intensified in the past 10 years through the UN and their wacky “social justice” they apply to whatever as the need arises) understand what is behind this ugly race-baiting.

We have been aware of the teaching of those who sign on to “Teach for America” and they along with edX have now designed a course they have called “Teaching Social Justice Through Secondary Mathematics” is being pushed through a 6-week course for MIDDLE SCHOOL teachers and you can even take online courses from top universities like Columbia. The course intent is to incorporate social justice into their curricula.

According to the course developers, regular math is “too abstract” for many students, and incorporating social justice can help them better understand “the power and meaning” of math.

Pinging directly to the Math classes the question posed is “Do you ask students to think deeply about global and local social justice issues within your mathematics classroom?”

edX is a massive open online course provider. It hosts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines to a worldwide student body and it was created by MIT and Harvard University.

Part of the problem I see here is the fact edX states they are ” founded by and continue to be governed by colleges and universities. We are the only leading MOOC provider that is both nonprofit and open source. This is one of the big problems since most universities and colleges today are very liberal and have no time for our students when they object to their bias.

The point is they are supposed to blend their math instruction with topics such as poverty, privilege, and inequity to “transform students into GLOBAL THINKERS & MATHEMATICIANS”.

Does this mean knowing and understanding Math alone will not make you a great Mathematician, and you also must believe in “sustainable development and climate change”?

This is Soviet/Nazi type education – brainwashing at its worst. You see the true meaning of “sustainable development” is to get rid of capitalism, we need mathematicians who are supporting the one to achieve the other.

These manipulating, conniving liars will tell you that Math is evil because there is no ethics behind it. This is definitely a form of dehumanizing our children so that population control will not bother them; it will change their outlook on abortion; teach them there are different classes of genocide and sometimes it is a good thing – needed.

A recent article by D. Susan Berry “Common Core Rooted in Math Social Indoctrination” states, “While proponents of the Common Core claim that the new standards are focused on “college and career readiness,” more evidence is surfacing that a central purpose of the initiative is social justice and income redistribution indoctrination.

I agree, and as I stated in my 2 previous postings regarding the G20, Link, Link, the UN and all their supporters who believe they will someday rule the world, know their focus must be in indoctrinating our children to not only believe in “sustainable development”, but support it without question.

That is why they are now working at pushing these climate and social justice lies so hard because time is short and they keep changing their mindset as to what is going to work. Fortunately, enough of us are awake and more are seeing what is happening, their job is getting harder.

We have socialist, Marxist-Communists surrounding our children like Bill Ayers, Linda-Darling Hammond, Bill Gates, Bushes – more and more – coming up with more ideas all the time.

Radical Math” boasts over 700 lesson plans, articles, charts, books, and websites that cover a wide range of socio-political issues including redistribution of wealth, discrimination against the poor by whites and the message that widespread racism against blacks continues in the United States today.

Sorry liberals and UN baiters, most Americans got past your race baiting years ago. We have learned to look at the person not the color of his skin. The next thing to come out will be the use of Math and other subjects as the basis for our distrust of Muslims.

Social Justice is what “they” are using to say capitalism has created the poor and inequality of the world. Those two items have been around since Moses and yet Pope Francis, the very Pope who shakes hands with Rick Warren acknowledging “Chrislam” states “inequality is the root of social evil”.

Knowing my history as I do I would like to point out there has been extreme social evil in the Catholic church (and we know there has) since the Pope and his Cardinals and Bishops rein over the lower levels of the poor in the church. Francis also has stated capitalists have gotten rich from war and if my History is with me, the Vatican Bank got very full with the church’s collaboration with the Nazi’s and the Catholic church has reigned over others for centuries.

I for one will not share what I have worked for to survive for so many years with others unless I deem them needy which is called Charity, not social justice. I follow no lead or instructions of a socialist Pope who cannot even keep his own house but is looking away or participating in the indoctrination of our children through phony ideology and perception.

Parents, have you never heard of DARPA? We warned you this was going to be part of the Common Core implementation. Do you remember our telling you of the computer mouse which will track your child’s emotional responses to items thrown at them while supposedly learning at school?

DARPA – the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency if allowed permission, will be tracking your child’s emotional, behavioral and social STANDARDS! STANDARDS? Our children now have emotional, behavioral and social standards as well as academic? By whose standards?

Who the heck has given the Federal Department of Defense permission to be in your child’s classroom?

The University of Memphis is seeking a licensee to commercialize a significant advance in the Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs). The invention consists of software and proprietary algorithms which allow ITSs to sense and optimally respond to the learner’s (your child) emotional state and not simply their cognitive state.

The inventors are supposedly internationally recognized, award-winning leaders in Artificial Intelligence-based tutor system research. This technology is built on decades of research supported by millions of dollars of your money through federal grants. Award winning? In the mental and emotional manipulation of our children?

While current e-learning systems focus on knowledge and cognition, it is widely acknowledged that the next generation affect-sensitive ITSs will be the wave of the future. For example, the theme of the 14th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education was on “Affective Modeling” –  detecting and responding to student affect.”

For me, it is like stripping a child’s mind and behavioral responses to a state of nakedness. There will be nothing about our children that will be private or sacred to the world but manipulated. No protection of information guaranteed.

  • The computer-based training and e-learning markets are large and constantly growing. Training systems that achieve impressive learning gains, such as the present invention, have a wide range of applications for virtually any computerized training scenario.
  • Gives Intelligent Tutoring Systems the unique capability of responding to student’s emotional states in addition to their cognitive states and knowledge levels.
  • Can be an add-on to existing ITS platforms.
  • Provides a tool that is particularly effective with students who are initially unfamiliar with the subject taught by the ITS.
  • Yields significant learning gains by detecting, responding to, and synthesizing emotion.

The people behind this I guess see it as an experiment on the fun side since they list two NOVEL ASPECTS making the system unique:

  • The algorithm to be used will detect student emotions and combines conversational cues, posture, and facial features. This form of multimodal affect detection is achieved via a three-channel decision level fusion algorithm. (Got that?)
  • The strategies the system uses will respond to students’ emotional and cognitive states. This is accomplished with a theoretically-grounded production system that helps students regulate their negative emotional state in a manner that is dynamically responsive to each individual learner.

To what end? What is the point and purpose of this? To take their current emotional state and regulate it to what THEY believe it should be? What is wrong with a child having a negative emotional state which would be more likely responding to an event?

Is this the beginning of emotionally training your child to think as someone wants them to, not how it comes naturally to them or from their parent’s training?

THEY say, “Simply put, the invention yields impressive learning gains by detecting, responding to, and synthesizing emotion”.

Arthur C. Grasser, one of the inventors, is a professor of psychology and intelligent systems at the University of Memphis and has served as the editor of the Journal of Educational Psychology and Discourse Processes.

Danger:  Keeping in mind that our rights come from the Declaration of Independence, written BEFORE the Constitution, stating that our rights are unalienable and are endowed by our CREATOR – not our legislators, not our government and certainly not from the United Nations and their attempt at gaining control of our children through the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (“CRC”).

Imagine this scenario – the Intelligent Tutoring Systems monitoring your child’s responses all day long during different subjects, then the information being gathered with those of other children to modify and behaviorally train your children on how to think about numerous social and emotional events, even to the point of “dulling” their reactions or “increasing” them.  B. F. Skinner is dancing in his grave along with all the other freaks who have worked at using our children to achieve their personal goals.

He co-directs the Emotive Computing Lab. His primary research interests are in the cognitive and affective sciences, artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and the learning sciences. More specific interests include affective computing, artificial intelligence in education, speech recognition and natural language understanding, and computational models of human cognition.

Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking said artificial intelligence “could spell the end of the human race.”

Speaking at the MIT Aeronautics and Astronautics department’s Centennial Symposium in October, Tesla boss Elon Musk referred to artificial intelligence as “summoning the demon.”

” I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I were to guess what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that. So, we need to be very careful with the artificial intelligence. Increasingly scientists think there should be some regulatory oversight maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don’t do something very foolish. With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon. In all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water, it’s like yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon. Didn’t work out.”

British inventor Clive Sinclair has said he thinks artificial intelligence will doom mankind. “Once you start to make machines that are rivaling and surpassing humans with intelligence, it’s going to be very difficult for us to survive,” he told the BBC. “It’s just an inevitability.”

Even Bill Gates has sounded an alarm on “artificial intelligence” which is exactly what the ITSs system is intended to be used for. “I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence,” Gates wrote. “First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don’t understand why some people are not concerned.”

PARENTS IT IS TIME TO SOUND THE ALARM against this. Contact your Education and legislative officials and let them know you are against this system being allowed into our Educational Systems and our children’s daily lives.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) is taking a giant leap in EDUCATION as schools seek to raise THEIR standards, looking for help for the schools – not our children and it is coming in the form of virtual assistants packed with the power of artificial Intelligence.

Working to convince you AI will help the teachers and your children is the major goal today claiming it is a necessity because of the population growth and larger classrooms. Pearson, you remember them, are also deeply involved in this manipulation of our children.

Keeping our children buried in computers not only is not good for their physical and mental growth, but it is taking them away from personal interaction. LIBERTY!

Once again I have to apologize to my readers. We took a long, well deserved vacation visiting family, a convention and a bit of genealogy wandering through several cemeteries old in New England.

While gone I got a major sinus infection which knocked me for a loop and we actually came back early. We will be off again the end of September and I can’t wait for that trip and tell my education followers about who I visited with. I am at this point in anticipation, excited about the coming trip.

The following is an article I wrote earlier this week and it was published on the CapitolHillInsider.com. I hope you all understand the point I was trying to get across – some of the readers did not, but then they never do.

Back fresh from a very well-deserved vacation, I woke up this morning to find certain so-called news agencies believing we are celebrating the Constitution today rather than the Declaration of Independence. One agency even having George Washington sitting on his horse at Gettysburg.

I was surprised that some of them weren’t telling us today was the national holiday of Beer, Hot Dogs and Hamburg’s and Fireworks!

It is sad to note so many Americans have so little regard for our country including our elected officials. On the brink of celebrating our 241st birthday, we had seven congressmen who voted against Kate’s Law.

How do you vote against the safety and welfare of your citizens over those who are here, not only illegally, but have committed crimes and murdered citizens of our own country?

George Washington and many of the founders have been quoted enough for people to know how they felt about this country and what they saw her future to be.

America has always been a compassionate country and at the same time selfless, but that never meant the welfare of the people of this country didn’t come first.

Eight months before he was elected to be our first president, George Washington wrote to Francis Van der Kemp, “I had always hoped that this land might become a safe & agreeable Asylum to the virtuous & persecuted part of mankind, to whatever nation they might belong.” He went on to clarify that he welcomed “persons of moderate property, who are determined to be sober, industrious & virtuous members of Society.”

This doesn’t sound like a man who was willing to fill this country with those who would murder us or even take over our country.

Washington was like a coach handpicking the best players for his team, unashamed of stocking the nation’s vast lands with those who would most benefit the United States.

Just remember when Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Fla.),  Carlos Curbelo (Fla.), Mario Diaz-Balart (Fla.), Dan Donovan (N.Y.), Peter King (N.Y.), Dave Reichert (Wash.) and Justin Amash (Mich.) run for office again, they are willing to take your hard earned money in the form of salaries, pensions and healthcare (which I remind you they were unwilling to participate in Obamacare), but they are not willing to protect you and your families over illegals. And all seven are Republicans.

It is no wonder with the lack of interest in truly vetting candidates that this country is in the mess it is.

Those who follow some of these rags would most likely say what is the difference whether we are celebrating the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence? Who cares, it’s just another holiday. But if they truly cared about their country, they would make sure the truth is always presented.

Some always come up with reasons they think our country isn’t perfect – what country is? They are all run by humans who error and cheat on a regular basis.

Why is it important to remember the Declaration of Independence came before the Constitution on July 4, 1776? Because the 2 documents gave Americans specific things.

The Declaration of Independence gave us the source of our POWER which comes from the PEOPLE. Our RIGHTS declaring, we are all created EQUAL, and that those rights come from our CREATOR and with that we are endowed with certain UNALIENABLE RIGHTS and among those are LIFE, LIBERTY and the pursuit of HAPPINESS.

Hey Hollywood, try living in North Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia or even Canada like you said you were going to and see if you have these things!

Some historians would have you believe King George III was a good guy and compared to most of his predecessors he was. England was constantly being plagued by Kings who were greedy, wanting to finance their own adventures through the taxation of the people.  It really wasn’t so different than it is now with our lawmakers.

If you remember, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were so well written because of the history of rights and wrongs which had been carried out against the English people since the early 1100’s.

King John, popularized by the tale of Robin Hood and Hollywood (who by the way was not robbing the rich and giving to the poor, but returning oppressive taxes back into to the hands of the people), took over while his brother Richard the Lion-Heart was fighting in the Crusades.

It was said of King John that he “plundered his own people”, he was “cruel towards all men” and “Hell itself was fouled by the presence of John”.  In 1207 King John introduced the first income tax in England.  Taxation at that time was established at one thirteenth of “rents and moveable property”.   Taxes were collected locally by sheriffs and administered by the Exchequer.  His brutal policies and excessive taxation brought him into conflict with his barons, the land and business owners. Taxes imposed by King John were excessive to the point of oppression.  This made no difference to the King as these taxes served to double his income for each year, and served to finance his adventures.  Though the taxes levied by John were excessive, he is most known for his punishments against defaulters.

When I read about King John he reminds me of the way things are being done throughout our government today – the only difference is, today it is being carried out by 535+ King John’s with no real regard for the people they say they are serving. Everything is mouth service!

John was ruthless, showing favor only to those who suited his needs (lobbyists).  King John’s excessive and ruthless taxation lead to a rebellion of the barons resulting in the adoption of the Magna Carta.  The Magna Carta of 1215 made the King promise that no taxes except the regular feudal dues were to be levied, and except by the consent of the Great Council, or Parliament.

It was the Magna Carta which laid out a great deal of the wording of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

The Constitution gave us the Preamble declaring it is “We the People” – not the states that are in control. The people, not any other entity or authority, are the source of governmental power under the Constitution.

The purpose of each document is important in that the Declaration of Independence gave the reasons for our separation from England and explained how the PEOPLE were to control government. The Constitution laid out our form of government.

Sadly, those who wish to turn our country into a One World Government have had enough influence on our children’s education or lack of, with the elimination of any history prior to 1865 being presented to our children, they are slowly ruining our country. Liberal publishers have been allowed to eliminate facts, distort information, give more fodder to liberal history over Republican and more space to Islam religion than Christian.

If our young Americans had been properly educated regarding these founding documents and the founders themselves, they would never even think about following a man like Bernie Sanders for President of this country. They wouldn’t have had to make up excuses as to why Ted Cruz was eligible to be President.

It doesn’t matter that on September 14, 2009, the U.S. House passed H.RES 686, Rep. Alan Grayson -D (FL) referred to as the “Teach the Constitution Week” bill.  The problem is the bill doesn’t mandate or demand high schools are to spend just one week each September teaching the United States Constitution to high school seniors – the bill urges them to do so. It also encouraged students to petition the government on an issue of personal importance to them to demonstrate their understanding of their rights and responsibilities as citizens of the United States.

How can our up and coming students petition the government on an issue of personal importance to them to demonstrate their understanding of their rights and responsibilities as citizens of the United States if they don’t even understand what is covered within the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence. Today they go around assuming this or that to make sure they have their liberty and rights, but they have no idea they already have them firmly planted within those documents.

Why are we not requiring History to be taught, especially American History, more than one week in September and why are we waiting until their high school years?

Grayson’s bill was a “smoke and mirrors” move to appease the parents and educators who were complaining our children were NOT being taught the founding documents. And they still are not!

Why has a traditionally “core subject”, which was ranked in the same academic hierarchy as English, Science, and Math for decades, been silenced in thousands of American classrooms?

For starters, you can go and read the “1934 Conclusions and Recommendations of the Carnegie Committee – American Historical Assoc. Investigation of the Social Studies in the Schools” and if that doesn’t show you what has been happening try “Research About Teaching and Learning – 1st & 2nd Editions“.

But parents I’m not here to punish you, so as an alternative, if you read this small wonderful 47 page booklet “Back to Basics Reform” it will lay out the groundwork as to the ruination of our children’s education and the demise of our country as we know it because of it.

Bluntly put, America’s schools are dangerously obsolete. Instead of teaching students to be critical thinkers and problem-solvers, we are asking them to memorize facts for multiple choice tests. This problem isn’t limited to low-income school districts: even our top schools aren’t teaching or testing the skills that matter most.

Critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication, the top three skills are not being taught in America’s public schools.

Rather than being equipped with the skills to formulate their own conclusions, or solve a problem that may have multiple solutions, students are taught to regurgitate data that has been drummed into their heads in a school classroom. Any classroom these days whether it is public, charter, private or pushed by vouchers. It is the lack of GREAT information that is being left out.

They may be able to tell you when the Declaration of Independence was signed, but why it was signed or what it meant for the history of the world eludes them. (And judging by students’ scores on civics tests, they may not even know the date for the signing.)

I cannot encourage parents enough to begin Home Schooling their children. Charter schools and vouchers are being drummed into everyone’s heads because it still gives the government and others CONTROL over the Education and Future of your children.

Someone please explain to me what good it does to send your child to a “Classical Charter School” or Private school by a Voucher when they are still using Common Core aligned curriculum and standardized tests?

At the same time, I do NOT support Mike Huckabee’s “Learn Our History” series. Not only are the reviews bad, the series are very expensive. I cannot support a man such as Huckabee who couldn’t wait to align himself with Jeb Bush and the Common Core Agenda, then as a minister lies to his TV audience’s as to no longer supporting CC and 2 months later has lunch with the CCSSO telling them to preserve the CC by “renaming or rebranding” it and soon enough parents won’t even know their children are still using it. Today is about our LIFE, LIBERTY and the pursuit of HAPPINESS and you have had these since July 4, 1776. The fact some Americans and foreigners want to turn those three things into something else is an entirely different issue.

We are 50 FREE and INDEPENDENT STATES – not a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT for King Georges to rule over us.

Read the Declaration of Independence at least once a week to fully understand what was given to you. No country is perfect, but you will NEVER find one that is any better than this one.

School Choice: The Hidden Dangers! Must Be Watched Videos!

It is essential that parents and parents-to-be fully understand what is happening in our education system and to fully understand what “School Choice” means to them and their children. When every education system offered (public, charter, voucher private/religious) must be aligned to a certain set of standards, that is NOT a choice.

Again I want to remind you this slow shift in the control of your children through their education has been around for over 100 years. This is not a PARTY “D” or “R” thing, both are involved. What you are seeing is a “pass of control” if you will, from the “unions to the corporate” cronies or from one group of “bad guys” to another group of “bad guys”. Understand none of them are your friends.

This is “SKILLS-BASED EDUCATION”! So you ask what is the difference between skill-based education and knowledge based education.

SKILL-BASED:  This form of education is more about teaching our children “WHAT” to think and it centers around developing and applying specific skills that can then be used to obtain the required knowledge for the workforce. From a teacher’s point of view, it changes the way lesson planning is done. Whereas before the focus would have been on how they could teach the class about a certain topic, skills-based learning means that the focus is now on how that topic can help the children to develop and learn certain skills. In other words, “dumbed down education” and this is where you get 2+2=5 or whatever a child wants. The goal is for the child to be able to justify their anser not so much as if it is correct.

ACADEMIC/KNOWLEDGE BASED:  Teaches a child “HOW” to think and to build upon the knowledge that the pupil already has. There are clear learning objectives set out which link to the activity undertaken, helping the child to see how their existing knowledge will help them to complete the task. For teachers this can mean having more one on one time with pupils to talk through how they are finding the task/subject and giving any additional help they may need. This can seem time-consuming but it will ensure that all pupils are engaged and learning during the lessons and that they will all succeed.

PRIVATIZATION:

Understood Meaning:  Allowing a true and free market to work i.e., private schools

Hidden Meaning:  Cronyism in the form of Public-Private Partnerships

SCHOOL CHOICE:

Understood Meaning:  A parent can choose from a wide range of different schools and options

Hidden Meaning:  Parent’s can choose from a narrow range of schools deemed acceptable by the government with no real choice

EDUCATIONAL SAVINGS ACCOUNTS:

Understood Meaning:  A tax-free savings account into which parents may place their own earnings to use for the education options they choose from for their children

Hidden Meaning:  Entitlement programs in the form of vouchers subject to total government control

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Understood Meaning:  That the system (teachers, school boards & government) are answerable to parents & taxpayers

Hidden Meaning:  Answerable to your State and through the ESEA Federal government bureaucracy

LOCAL CONTROL:

Understood Meaning:  Local school districts are setting policy

Hidden Meaning:  The state determines a narrow range in which school districts may have a narrow range of pre-selected options

COMPETENCY:

Understood Definition:  Proficiency in an academic area

Hidden Definition:  Skills-based emotional and psychological training to be used in industry (utilitarian)

Keep in mind that foundations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Walmart Family Foundation, ALEC, and others have invested deeply and supported BOTH Common Core and Choice/Vouchers.

Example: Education legislation just passed yesterday by Florida includes:

Praises from Jeb Bush and his lapdogs; critics are referring to it as manipulative and detrimental to traditional public schools;  the 278-page bill eliminates a section of Florida’s often-criticized, 2011 teacher merit-pay law; changes standardized testing rules; mandates 20 minutes of recess for elementary school children (exempting charter schools); expands a controversial teacher bonus program and provides new bonuses for most teachers for the next three years.

It also provides financial incentives for successful charter schools to open in neighborhoods with struggling traditional public schools and demands that school districts share some tax money with charters.

Gov. Scott’s $82.4 billion budget is a less than 1% increase from the current year. It includes $20.4 billion for PreK-12 schools, or $7,221 per student, about a $25 increase on the current year, the smallest jump since Florida began to climb out of the recession. House Speaker Corcoran’s push to use $200 million to entice charter schools to compete with chronically failing public schools and another $200 million to pay teachers bonuses based on SAT scores made the cut. (Keep in mind NO ONE will answer a question about the fraud and corruption going on within the Charter school system, not even if any of the money is being paid back or if anyone is going to jail.)There was a great deal of conversation surrounding transparency regarding the closed-door negotiations. But then the lack of transparency in Florida is nothing new since our legislature has for several years received a D or F in that area.

When called on the closed-door meetings, House Speaker Coocoran stated, “Under Article III (of the state Constitution), we have that right, and I’ve said it to you guys from the beginning: One of my biggest criticisms coming in as speaker was, we’re the body closest to the people, the Legislature. And what we’re going to do is, we’re going to go out there and we’re going to grab that authority.” Whew, he certainly sees himself as important. They change everything else in the Constitution, why never the bad things?

Lawmakers also approved legislation on Friday that would increase funding available to students under the state’s de facto voucher program and strengthen protections for expressions of religion in public schools.

Again all this entitlement and lack of oversight in regard to Charter schools with our legislators owning or being associated with Charter schools and at the same time writing and voting on Charter school legislation.

Our State colleges also took a $30.2 million cut, but then the amount being paid to college professors is enough to blow a person’s mind. The amount of debt our children graduate from college with is inexcusable. Take UCF, now the largest college in the country just gave their coach Scott Frost a 300,000 annual raise. The American Athletic Conference coach now earns $2 million per year after one season on the job.

 

This forward movement to control our children through education is controlling every aspect of government at this time. Parents was to fix it is to STOP re-electing these same old pieces of legislature bull and get some new blood in and if they defy us, then move them out too. They are re-call measures you know!
