It was bound to happen! Witchcraft, Occult, Homosexuality – it’s been in the movies and TV for our kids watch, games they play – it was bound to show up in the comic books – of which our “before sex”, really young kids would be reading.
The adventures of redheaded Archie and his friends Veronica, Betty and Jughead were wholesome, kid-friendly family fun. It all began in 1941. 75 years ago – what a wonderful legacy.
But the world is about to take another turn into the depths of hell feeding our children only the darker side of life. On July 16, 2014 everything changed.
In the words of progressive Archie comic publisher and CEO, Jon Goldwater, (son of the original owner John L. Goldwater) “A new Riverdale is born!”
Can you believe it was this man’s father who in the mid-1950s was a key proponent and custodian of the comic book censorship guidelines known as the Comics Code Authority?
Since the same type of transition has gone on throughout the Disney World Empire, maybe Walt and John L. can send us some message on how to reverse this evil.
Suffice it to say, our freckled-face friend Archie is fatally shot saving the life of his homosexual buddy, Kevin, who is now part of the gang. Kevin enjoys his gay marriage and serving as a senator, solidly pushes gun-control and modeling diversity for all the young readers.
Archie Comics is also offering it’s youthful and impressionable audience a hard-core horror series, “Afterlife with Archie” plus the chilling adventures of “Sabrina” the teenage witch.
This 16-year-old role model for young daughters is born of a warlock. Her aunt Salem is a witch that turns into a talking cat and she is the villain and there is a Witches Council and abundant curses for all to enjoy.
The writer of this series, Roberto Aguirre–Sacasa, describes the comic as a “story about witches and witchcraft, demonology and occultism”. He is an American playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer best known for his work for Marvel Comics. And Gay! Normally that wouldn’t matter but he is pushing his lifestyle on the very young as acceptable which is what the LGBT crowd does. All of his works are focusing around the gay/ occult/satism lifestyle.
On April 4, 2003, Dad’s Garage Theatre Company in Atlanta was scheduled to debut Aguirre-Sacasa’s new play, Archie’s Weird Fantasy, which depicted Riverdale’s most famous resident coming out of the closet and moving to New York. The day before the play was scheduled to open; Archie Comics issued a cease and desist order, threatening litigation if the play proceeded as written. Dad’s Garage artistic director Sean Daniels said, “The play was to depict Archie and his pals from Riverdale growing up, coming out and facing censorship. Archie Comics thought if Archie was portrayed as being gay that would dilute and tarnish his image.” It opened a few days later as “Weird Comic Book Fantasy” with the character names changed.
He boasts, “I am really good at making things dark and ominous.”
Aguirre-Sacasa admitted he was gay in a conversation regarding his 2006 semi-autobiographical “Based On A Totally True Story” (about a comic-book writer/playwright struggling with new-found success and boyfriend problems) was staged at the prestigious Manhattan Theatre Club in New York. When asked by The Advocate, “Which came first, being a comic-book geek or being gay?” he answered, “I would say I was probably a comic-book geek before I knew anything about being gay or straight. I certainly loved superheroes before I knew I was gay” He also noted the play was, “thankfully”, not about his current boyfriend.
“Once you get that big story up and running you could tell a lot more little stories. Veronica, for example, sets her eyes on Finn immediately, but Veronica Lodge’s social status is at the bottom of the food chain,” Aguirre-Sacasa said, adding that ultimately she and Kurt become best friends.
“And back in Riverdale, when Josie and Pussycats realize that Mercedes Jones has the greatest voice ever, they set out to recruit her for the band,” he said. Kevin Keller, Archie’s first openly gay character, meets Blaine, who’s been “zapped in Riverdale and Kevin is immediately intrigued by this new bow-tie wearing student”.
Then of course, there’s Sue Sylvester, the fast-talking sardonic queen of mean. She’ll square off against Jughead, Aguirre-Sacasa said.
Aguirre–Sacasa’s new play which opened at the Rainbow Theater in February, 2014 called “Say You Love Satan” they say is a wickedly humorous play which revolves around a love affair between a man and a guy who turns out to be the Prince of Darkness.
So what prompted it – the friendship between Aguirre-Sacasa and Archie Comics co-CEO Jon Goldwater, who met at the New York Comic Con in 2011? “The Archie brand is very versatile and we’re continuing to explore our limits every day,” Goldwater said of the latest crossover.
Given free rein to tell the story that uses the conventions of wormholes and time warps to place the characters in the different universes, Aguirre-Sacasa stated, “How perfectly these worlds mesh and how funny the comparisons are between the characters.
So I guess his gay lifestyle gives him license to convince our young children that his lifestyle is great, good and should be theirs – even before they know what sex is! This has been the growing objective of the progressive gay crowd for years – well at least since Obama came into office.
The new series features for the enjoyment of your children false gods, the undead, zombies, with posters of “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” a chilling and eerie adaptation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” hanging on Jughead’s wall.
The Bible tells Christians that all occult practices are evil and condemned by God. Deut. 18:9 addresses it very plainly to include in verses 19 and 11 to mention (fortunetelling), or a soothsayer, or an enchanter (magician), sorceress, or a charmer (hypnotist), spirit medium, or a clairvoyant or psychic, or a necromancer (medium who consults the dead) or a witch.
God continues to give us choices and chances; however we continue to ignore the teachings and warnings. The Communist’s laid out their plan in the Manifesto – we ignored it – too inflated with our own egos.
We have watched especially since 9-11 the nation falling apart literally through education, global warning lies, immorality and gross deceptions. Always believing our elected “works of me, myself and I” would never do anything to hurt the American people. Now we even have the far right evangelical false prophets eroding the very words of the Lord himself.
Still believe everything is ok as they continue to corrupt your children in any and every way imaginable?
By the way parents, Kevin Keller, Archie’s boyfriend is getting his own monthly series. “He’s going to be the class president. Even the most popular kids are not popular with everybody. There’s some adversity he’ll have to deal with.”
And if this isn’t AMAZING enough news, the character will also be featured as an adult in the alternative series Life With Archie, and will be apparently be married to another gent!
